Interrupted music session
Amaris was sitting in one of the very many empty classrooms all alone with her favourite notebook - the faux sage-green one. It held all of her favourite songs and lyrics that she had written and on every page used there was at least one small sketch.
It was always somehow closely related to what the song or lyrics were about.
No one knew about her passion for music or art. She didn't like to talk about it much - knowing her family, everyone is always in the spotlight and shares everything. For every tiny thing that she -or anyone else in the family- could do, Amaris's family would praise that person. They would most likely ask for her to share some lyrics with them, or at least sing something. Amaris wasn't ready for that. She was quite a quiet person, always keeping everything to herself. So these private moments where she could dive into her favourite faux notebook and write her mind were precious to her.
Ever since she joined Hogwarts there has been very little time when she has not been busy with one thing or another.
She opened the bookmarked page. This song was a muggle song, and even though Amaris took it upon herself to judge most muggles due to their lack of imagination, this closely related to Amaris's life. Although she didn't create any of the lyrics, she wrote it down so it would always be with her whenever she wanted.
What was I made For?-Billie Eilish
She was muttering in a soft lullaby;
"I used to float, now I just fall down,
I used to know, but I'm not sure now,
What I was made for..
What was I made for?...
whilst drawing small thoughts of her mind onto her wrist. It was nice, this peaceful classroom. She hadn't been able to find such lovely places as an empty, abandoned classroom that no one is occupying. She was one of the only few people that were not outside enjoying the sunshine. But she didn't mind. This time was more of her own rewarding leisure activities - even if nobody else enjoyed it.
