Everyone,

Those who have already seen my post in the absence thread would know why I am making this post. Unfortunately, I planned a lot of Amaris before I knew site restrictions, lore, and storylines. Therefore, her character just did not work. In short, I had been playing a character I did not enjoy for six months. However, these six months were such a valuable lesson in RPing, in character development, and of course, in teaching me how wonderful the HIO community is.

However, I am almost reaching my six month point and I would be deactivating Amaris as soon as I can (in less than 72 hours) to explore new frontiers in my new character, Kit Isabelle Blaine. If all goes well she would be a Slytherin Metamorph. I've had different character ideas before and recently even owled two members about this matter for some advice, but eventually I was able to decide on one for myself (Lyria, if you are reading this, I'm so sorry I never got to use yours).

I just want to say I big thank you to everyone I've had to honour of RPing with, get inspiration from, or just talking and being friends with. All of you are such amazing people and I think, in just six mere months, HIO has become my second home, a lovely place I visit every day. I just want to thank some of the best people down below in no particular order. I would refrain from tagging, but if you are reading this post, thank you very very much. Bolded names are those who have expressed interest in RPing with me as my new character. Discussion is welcomed once I deactivate Amaris. I will also be open to any other RP requests from anyone on this list or otherwise.

Here is what happened to Amaris IC: she was invited to a wedding party in Cuba with her family. Reluctantly, she decided to go. Unfortunately, a grave accident happened, in which she was greatly hurt. Her condition meant that she would not be returning to Hogwarts anytime soon and would eventually lead to her death. @Linda Ramirez should be the only person who knows, since her family discovered she was Amaris' best friend through letters. However, it is your choice OOC.
