Tedious Work PV Jesse Marotta Closed

Salina walked a little ways down the hallway, heading to Potions class. The dungeons wasn't her favorite place to be in, it was little too dreary and unsettling for her taste. And then the Slytherin's ghost was the Bloody Baron of all things. Fitting.

She wondered what it was like being a Slytherin, having your common room right next to one of the best classes—in her opinion, at least. The Gryffindors common area was up many flights of stairs, so she, along with her fellow house mates, had to make there way down. So she wasn't surprised to see many Slytherins already inside when she did entered the room.

Salina brushed a stray curly out of her face and politely greeted a few Gryffindors she knew before walking to take her seat near the middle. She didn't sit by anyone in particular yet. Most of the Gryffindors were still making their way down, while the Slytherins had already chosen most of their partners. She quietly situated herself, getting her parchment and quill ready. She knew that most of the classes now were just about learning the material rather than trying anything yet, but she really couldn't wait until she could get hands on some ingredients. But today's lesson would just be a lecture full of note-taking. Sucks that she didn't have anyone in particular to chat with. That tended to be her Ravenclaw friends.

She watched more students come inside. She recognized most of them by now but just by face value. Salina wondered what her social life would be like months from now, even next semester or next year. As she daydreamed she fiddled with the feather of her quill absentmindedly.
