Information

There were exciting days throughout the year filled with eclipses, alignment of planets, shooting stars, and so on. This would be something that his assistants would get to help with and get to see. They would see every exciting thing Astronomy has to offer and see that it's not all about doing math but the things you miss when you're sleeping.

This is going to be purely In Character. Anything the Interns do in their posts will further their knowledge in Astronomy. It should also go without saying that this is simply an Internship that functions IC and doesn't grant stat bonuses or additional knowledge such as knowing spells from later years at all.

Responsibilities of the Interns/Assistants would be to maintain the Astronomy Equipements by cleaning it and repairing it (with help from the Professor), research and study the celestial objects and astronomical events, build model rockets for a representation of a simplified math-less Rocket Science and for understanding fuel, etcetera.

I will keep a log of those who join the internship program for Astronomy and perform a monthly activity check on them.

IC Privileges

The IC privileges you may be granted by Interning with the Professor is the ability to use more than just the Enchanted Telescope as he has worked with you and you would have shown that you are capable of taking care of things like the Lunarium and Jovibile. You will be allowed to work with Octavius after class to clean up the Astronomy Classroom then get to possibly watch meteor showers and shooting stars.

A reminder, privileges can be taken away. You can lose privileges by committing serious rule breaks in character- like attempting to murder someone or intentionally destroying tools and equipments in the Astronomy Classroom. A minor rule break will simply be rewarded detention and a close eye on you when you are around the equipment.

Requirements

You must be a first year with Aberto, the Opening Charm in your trunk. Why is this? It's proof that you have taken the first lesson of Astronomy which features all of the rules and equipment used.

You must be approved in Index. This should be an easy requirement because you need Aberto in your trunk.

Small Note

Are there limits to how many Interns this program will allow? The answer to that is no. There are no limits, so by all means, go ahead and apply without worrying about being in a waitlist.
