I had thought about this for a while now, I wanted to save up my money, but also, what’s the point of having any if I’m not even going to spend it? After a few days of thinking, I had almost come to a big decision, buying a pet. I really want a lionhead thumper bunny, it could be like a friend. I could always have him. I decided to wait a few more days before completely making any decisions about it. I tried to think about all of the pros and cons about getting my very own pet bunny. There were so many reasons why I should and only a few why not to. I made my decision, I was going to go to the magical menagerie and get myself my beautiful whiskers. I walked down to diagonal alley and found the building with big letters stating the words “magical “menagerie”. Happily, I walked up to it and pushed the big doors open. The shop was filled with so many animals, ranging from cats, to owls, to spiders, to bunnies! “Hello” I said “I’m looking for a pet bunny.” There were two shopkeepers, an older couple, who were husband and wife. I had heard people talk about them before, saying that they were really nice. They smiled at me. I walked around the shop for a bit, looking at all of the animals. I knew I wanted a bunny, but I loved every sort of animal. They were all so cute, but now it was time to head over to the bunnies, to find my Whiskers. There were around four types of different bunnies, but I was now conflicted, I wasn’t sure now if I wanted to get a Lionhead thumper or a devils spawn. Their personalities and faces were both drawing me in so fast. I new I could only have one pet so I just stood there, staring at them both. I only realized that it was weird after almost a minute, and thought I should just stick to my original plan. I walked up to the shopkeepers and told them “I’m ready now, I would like a lionhead thumper bunny.” The elderly couple told me I could pick out the one bunny I wanted and to tell them the name I would pick out. “Whiskers” I said. We took the bunny and he was now mine. My very own pet, my new best friend, I loved him, my Whiskers.
