Love Birds PV Madison Bennett Finished

Whilst Madi was in the Great Hall eating breakfast, she spotted Simon and blushed as she ate her bowl of Pixie Puffs. She had ben on cloud 9 since they admitted their feelings to each other yesterday. Not only that, but they had shared their first kiss that day, plus many more, and were officially a couple.

Madi hadn't told her parents yet. She knew her dad would be super excited because he really likes Simon and she was sure her mother would be happy for them too, though she didn't see her mother as much as she saw her dad. Once she was finished, Madi smiled, walked over to where Simon was and wrapped her arms around his neck as they kissed. She'd missed the feeling of his lips on hers and so she was very glad to have that feeling back again. "Good morning Si. Aww thank you, you look very handsome today in turn" Madi said as she nodded in reply to Simon's question.

Madi giggled when she heard the reaction of Simon's friends and house mates as they walked hand in hand along the shores of the lake, sharing the occasional kiss when they weren't talking, though they did share one after Simon twirled Madi around, bringing her back to his side after. They both knew that the news of them being a couple would spread like wildfire but Madi didn't care so much, she had Simon and that was all she could think about right now. She stroked his hand with her fingers and smiled at him "no not yet, though I should do, he probably already knows if I'm honest, he'll have heard it around the school by now. At school James tends to keep to the library but i'll find him later and talk to him" Madi explained before continuing, "right now I just want to spend more time with you Si."

As they kept walking and holding hands, Madi felt the sun hit her face gently which made her blue eyes sparkle and smiled. "Si, have you told your parents about us yet? I haven't owled dad or my mother yet but I might do later. After I do though, just a warning but dad might send you a letter, it won't be anything scary, he just wants to know your heart and intentions are in the right place, after all I am his only daughter and I'm closer to him than I am to my mother" Madi says, stroking Simon's hand again with her fingers to let him know not to stress. Simon had met her dad twice now and both times Simon seemed comfortable around him, her dad had that warm and welcoming feeling to him which he gave to his daughter. "I hope that doesn't make you worried Si, there's no need to be. Dad probably sensed that we liked each other before and he likes you, he told me so" Madi says as she turns to face him, smiles and kisses him again, having put on a Vanilla and Cinnamon bun scented balm that she'd put into her trunk at the beginning of the year.

"No, I haven't. I got a letter from them this morning, but I will reply later and tell them about us. I'm sure they will be happy for us. Especially my mom. You know how she is." Simon smiled before nodding as she told him to be prepared for a letter from Mr. Bennett. "That's okay."

At least Mr. Bennett was not this scary father that looked at him like an insect to be squashed. The one family member he had been worried about was her mother. He knew that Mrs. Bennett had a lot of expectations on Madi. If anyone would have an opinion on her choice of boyfriend, it'd be her, he thought. James, on the other hand, had already given them his approval so at least Simon would have no pestering big brother hanging over him.

She gave him a kiss. He smiled and put an arm around her.

"What do you think of this tree, right here? Isn't this a nice spot?" He turned around, looking back at the castle. They were now a long way from school. The tree was standing in the slope of a hill. That would be a perfect spot for enjoying the warmth of the sun together in private, he thought, away from prying eyes and nosy ears.

"Come on", he said and grabbed her hand, leading them towards the base of the tree. He sat down with his back leaned against the trunk and gestured that she could sit in front of him with her back towards him. When she did, he put his hand on her chin, turning her face towards him before gently and slowly kissing her. "I've missed those lips too", he whispered and smiled. "Let's not think about our parents or school or anything else right now. Let's just enjoy this day together."

Madi giggled "I sure do, I'm pretty sure I lost count after the sixth time she told me how pretty I was when you came to Kensington in July" she says in reply. She hadn't gotten to know Simon's parents as well as he knew hers but she was very much excited to meet them soon and have a proper sit down chat with them.

As they walked more, Madison knew the one person who might not instantly approve of their relationship was her mother. She could just hear the nagging, telling off and pestering in her head but she drowned it out by thinking about her and Simon instead. Madi knew that she'd defend her relationship with Simon against her mother's remarks, she was the happiest she'd ever been and her mother was not going to take that away from her.

Madison nodded, smiling as Simon put an arm around her. "It sure is, maybe it can become one of our spots" she says with a giggle, enjoying the warmth of the sun on her face. She took Simon's hand as he lead her to the base of the tree. It wasn't a massive tree that blocked the sun, but it wasn't a tiny tree that gave them so much sun it was blinding, it gave them the perfect amount of shade and sunlight.

Once Simon had sat down and gestured for Madi to sit in front of him, she smiled, moved some hair behind her ear and sat in front of him between his legs and her back against his chest. Madi then felt Simon gently turn her face towards his and kissed her. Madi felt her heart flutter and a sweet smile spread across her face, with her cheeks turning a light pink. "They've missed yours too" Madi whispers back with a giggle.

She nods and rests her head on his shoulder "sounds perfect to me, I even snuck some food from breakfast into my little backpack so we don't have to rush back to the school, though we should once the sun starts to set, but that won't be for a while" Madi says, gesturing to the little backpack she had with her that she'd brought from home.

As she and Simon sat together under the tree, they talked about their hopes, their dreams and took some cute photos on the camera Simon had gotten Madi for her birthday. Madi giggled when Simon kept kissing her nose and blushing when their lips touched. She was feeling the gentle butterflies you get when you're in love with someone and she loved that feeling. The gentle rays of the sunlight kept Madison warm, though staying close to Simon gave her all the warmth she needed.

Madison turns to face Simon, still sitting between his legs and smiles "So, if I come with you to Edinburgh during the next school break, what will you put on our list of places to you want to take me to babe?" Madi says. She was excited to see where Simon grew up and learn more about some of the more muggle things he grew up with. She had a very sweet curious nature about her where she loved to listen to people talking, especially Simon, Madi could never get sick of listening to Simon talk about things. She wanted to ride a muggle train, she knew they had that kind of transport since she saw them at Kings Cross Station when she was going to the Barrier, but she'd never ridden one before, maybe she'd get to with Simon.

What to do in Edinburgh? Simon could think of plenty of things to do but the question was: what would Madi appreciate doing whilst in Edinburgh? He knew that she was not much into history, unlike their classmate Alyssea Brown, whom he had occasionally studied history with during their previous year. At least Madison did not like reading about history, but maybe she would be interested in learning a little about the history of Edinburgh and his family history by visiting some historical locations?

"Well, there's always the castle. That's like a mandatory stop if you're a tourist." He chuckled and placed his arm over her chest, caressing her arm with his finger tips. "Edinburgh is known as one of the most haunted cities in Europe, actually, and there's a lot of interested ghost stories centered around the castle. There's also this guided underground tour below the city that is quite cool actually, but it's not as interesting as the castle. We could also go to the National Museum, and just stroll in Old Town. It's really cosy, especially around Christmas. We could find some nice café there, as we did in Kensington."

It did sound quite lame when he said it out loud but he knew that experiencing it was something entirely different. He was sure her visit was going to be a memorable one, but it was not the sightseeing and various activities he was looking most forward to. It was being with Madi outside school again, free from classes, free from rules and curfews. Just the two of them.

"Also... I would like to take you out for a date night. Maybe we can go to a special restaurant that me and my parents always goes to on Valentine's Day. After that we can go see a movie at the cinema." Simon smiled. "I'm sure mom would be happy to drive us downtown and pick us up afterwards."

Madi stayed seated between Simon's legs as she listened to him. She relaxed as he stroked her arm with his fingers and smiled "ooo a castle, i'd love to go to a castle, i've never been to one before, not a muggle one anyway" Madi says. "That sounds perfect Si, I love it. As long as I'm with you, I know I'm going to have the best time ever. I'll admit, i'm not as big of a book reader as my brother is but I love to learn about new things and learn more things about stuff I already know. Plus I'd love to learn more about muggle mythical creatures, I'm sure they have plenty" Madi continues.

As the sun made her soft skin glow, Madi smiled and closed her eyes just for a few seconds, before opening them again. "I can't wait to be back outside of school again with you Si, no rules. no curfew, no classes, just you and me all day, breakfast, lunch, dinner and bedtime" Madi said with a giggle.

She blushed when Simon said he'd like to take her on a date "Awww I'd love to go out for a date night Si, that would be so special. Oooo a movie? I don't know any muggle movies, are there any good ones we might be able to go and see?" Madi asks with a soft smile.

She sat up, grabbed her little backpack and opened it up, taking out two Vanilla and Cinnamon buns "I thought you'd get a little hungry, so I thought i'd grab one for each of us" Madi says with a giggle, handing one to Simon as she eats the other, relaxing under the tree in the arms of her boyfriend, she never wanted this moment to end, she knew it would at some point but not right now, right now she was in a little bubble with Simon and she was loving it.

"Absolutely. Speaking of mythical creatures, there's always the Loch Ness Monster, but I'm sure you know a little something about that already. Anyway, I'm sure we'll find plenty of do whilst in Edinburgh, if we want to!"

Simon took a mental note to remind himself of asking his parents about the Christmas holidays. He was almost sure they would going to say yes with an instant. They spoke good about Madison and her father after their brief meeting in Kensington and now that she was his girlfriend, and not just his best friend, he thought that he had all the more reason to meet her during Christmas break. Otherwise his heart would break.

He chuckled when she asked him about Muggle movies. "I don't know yet, Madi. Maybe we can have my mum check it up for us and send us a list of movies that are available to watch around Christmas."

Madison picked up two vanilla and cinnamon buns from her bag. "I thought you'd get a little hungry, so I thought i'd grab one for each of us."

She knew him all too well. There was always room for a bun between meals and sneaking them out of the Great Hall had become almost a habit of the two. It had begun already during their first year on their very first school day when Madison and Simon was just becoming friends and she had offered him a bun from her bag as they waited for the class to begin.

"Thanks, Madi. You think of everything, even my stomach." He chuckled and took a bite.

A couple of swallows flew by. Simon looked at the hills and the lake, enjoying the morning breeze and the warmth of the sun. Somehow, he always found the Hogwarts ground to be even more relaxing than the woods and grounds around his home in Edinburgh. Perhaps it was because this place was far away from any Muggle settlements and cities. An oasis of magic and wonders in the middle of the Scottish highlands where it sometimes felt as if time stood still.

When he looked at Madison, he realized she had some sugar on her nose. "Really?" he said and smiled. "I don't know what it is that you're doing when eating, sweetie, but you have something on your nose again."

He removed the sugar with his finger with a smile and tucked a hair behind her ear before giving her a kiss. When he looked at her, it looked on her expression like she wanted the kiss to continue, so he put down the bun and gently placed his hand on her waist, continuing the kiss. As he closed his eyes, every other sensation became more notable. The feeling of Madi's lips against his, the chirping birds, the sloshing water in the lake and rustling leaves in the wind. Once again, it was as if nothing else existed except for them.

Loch Ness Monster? Madi thought to herself as Simon mentioned it. "I'm sure we will Si, but I'm fine with anywhere, as long as I'm with you" Madi as she feels her cheeks blush. Madison also made a not to herself to ask her parents if she could go to Simon's for Christmas break, now that they were dating it seemed only right to go there, plus Simon had already been to her house twice, even before they started dating.

Madi smiled and nodded "Oooo yes please, then we can go through them and see which one we like the sound of, though you're going to have to explain them to me" Madi says with a giggle.

Madi blushed and took a bite of her bun as Simon took a bite of his. "Hehe I know you too well Si, our stomachs would both be growling if we just sat here without eating" Madi said with a giggle.

When Simon told Madi that she had something on her nose, she blushed deeply, but before she could get it off, Simon beat her to it and she smiled back at him as he did so.
He tucked a loose hair behind Madi's ear before kissing her and Madi closed her eyes, enjoying every sensation, as if their lips were moving in tandem. When the kiss stopped however, Madi looked at Simon in a way that he'd instantly understand. She put her bun down beside his, blushed as he placed a hand on her waist and then the kiss continued.
Everything else went silent during the kiss, as Madi closed her eyes she could hear only the gentle water in the lake, the feeling of her lips and Simon's dancing in sync and it was as if nothing else mattered.

Soon, their blissful day and kisses, were cut short by the going down of the sun. Madi sighed but took Simon's hand as they walked back up to the school, Madi held his hand that little bit tighter, stood closer to him and smiled at him softly. "I don't want to let you go Si, I want to stay with you just a little bit longer...." Madi pouted, even though she knew they both had to go to their common rooms soon.
