Rebecca Loops 2023-2024 Letters

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++July 5, 2023

To the Highly Esteemed Mr. McCoire,

I hope you've beeen having a lovely time frolicking around the Scottish highlands, rolling in the grass, prancing over hilltops etc. etc. I shudder to think the sorts of things you might get yourself into without my sage presence and positive influence; how you managed to get anything fun done before meeting me I shall truly never know. Don't do anything I wouldn't do ( which isn't saying much, admittedly )! Try not to get yourself arrested— you and I both know I haven't got the money to pay bail and I'd feel sorry for the dementors for having to deal with your force of personality— and all this goes to say if you do anything too exciting without me, I'll consider it a BETRAYAL of the utmost degree.

It's been weird being back home. Nice, to have a break from classes and everything, but considerably less interesting. You've got to come and visit the city mate! I've told my family about you loads, Dad's been dying to meet you. I think he might be in love or something, so be a bit wary. If he tries to get you onto Jimmy Buffet— run. Run far away and do not look back.

I was thinking of you last night, by-the-by, being that time of the month and all. Rest up, and everything, all right? Take care of yourself. Write me!

Best and Missing You Lots,

Mr. R. Loops

P.S. Stop mooning over Fernandez, you can stand to live without seeing her for a few weeks. Chin up lad.
P.P.S. I suggest you give the owl a bit of bacon or else I can't garauntee she won't peck out an eye. She's a feathery BRAT, I don't know why I bother.
