Nahla Chivel was born in London to Vili Chivel and his wife, Hela Chivel.



Nahla was born on Sunday, July 1st of 2007. When she was 1 and half years old, her parents decided to leave London to travel the world. They never settled in one place and travelled once every year or two.

Nahla loves to read and gain knowledge. She also loves watching people and figuring out all kinds of things about them. Things about themselves that they might not even know yet.

She prefers peace and quiet, so she observes from afar. She enjoys strategy games and always plays them with her father. While she's good at them, she still has a long way to winning against her father.

An older cousin of hers is a worldwide martial arts champion among muggles. Whenever they meet, he teaches her some things and always tells to her practice. Strength of the body is very important just as balance in everything is.



After a debate between her father and mother regarding which magical school she was to go to, they decided to go back to London when Nahla was 10 so she could attend Hogwarts.



Nahla is a short girl with Asian features. She has black eyes, a button nose, and light skin. Her hair is black and she loves wearing the red hair ribbons her mother gives her.



Loves peace and quiet. Loves precision, efficiency, and perfection. Neutral when it comes to conflicts, amoral, and indifferent in most things. Loves reading and would rather sit with a book in the shadows then with people.

She's never had friends and doesn't know what to look forward too. Though, she wouldn't mind having one or two.

She doesn't really have a sense of humour, but her mother does. So, Nahla might crack some jokes on occasions that she'd heard from her mother.


The House of Chivel -written with one 'L' even though there are two- is an obscure and ancient line of nomadic pure bloods that originated from the Far East. They hide much of their history and traditions from others, including wizards.

They take on many names for their House, as they believe the given name is far more important than the name of the House.

Many times, the name of their House reflect or based from the cultures of the places they take root in. In the late 1800s, the House of Chivel took root in Europe.

The original name of the House of Chivel is only known among elder members of the family. It is passed down when a member reaches a certain age, and everyone who knows it is sworn to keep it secret.

Any outsiders who are told of the original House name are those whom are found admirable and worthy by the House.

The House of Chivel are known for neutrality in everything and believe that amorality is very key to living in this world. They don't share various prejudices much of the wizarding had, have, or may have.

Loyalty to their House is important amongst its members and so is adherence to their traditions.

It is important to note that while the House of Chivel do take roots in places, they ensure they are never too deep. They believe deep roots equals death; however, shallow roots are okay.

This is reflected in the name they had taken on for their House, 'Chivel'. While the actual name contains two letter 'L's, they removed one 'L' to symbolise that while they have taken root "here", they are not so attached or bound to it to be absorbed by it. Rather, they take from this new culture what doesn't threaten their own traditions and left off anything else.
