Summer camp Exploring time pv Am. Fr. Hart finished

Summer was a wonderful time of the year. No school, no homework, only fun. This year l decided to go to summer camp. A wonderful way to get to know other people from your school and the other schools as well.
The day was beautiful and it was a perfect weather to go exploring. But there was one thing missing. Kaya. Kaya had been my best friend for a very long time even before I had gone to Ilvermorny. Sadly, we were placed in different cabins, so it would be a lot harder to find her.
I was placed in the hippogriff cabin, while she was placed in, well, some cabin. I hadn't seen her ever since we had arrived here together. So now it was my mission to find her.
Kaya loved to explore like me. So I decided to check out this picnic area with places to sit surrounded by nature. I had found it the day I had come. My assumptions were correct and their Kaya was waiting for me, sitting down on a nearby log.
"Kaya, there you are! I've been looking for you for a very long time! How are you? Do you want to go explore?" I said, wrapping her in a hug.
I had missed her in the little time we had been apart. After all, we were two peas in a pod and we're rarely ever seen without each other but maybe the summer camp would be a good break and maybe we would make new friends to expand our group. Although Kaya would always be my bestie forever.

I grinned as Kaya hugged me back. My bestie and always my best was amazing. As always. Kaya was in the Unicorn cabin while I was in Hippogriff. I was sad, but was the time to have fun. Kaya obviously agreed to go exploring because that was like our thing.
"I'm great! My cabin was okay, not really my style. I know a few people but not too many. How's your cabin?" I said, "But anyways, I'm ready for an adventure!" I flashed her a grin.
I had heard that there was a good picnic spot with good views and a DIY fair.I wanted to check both of them out. I hoped Kaya would agree.
"I heard there's a good picnic spot close by to the DIY fair. We could go check them both out and have a picnic with some snacks!" I said, "I am hungry!"
I was hungry but I was also hungry for adventure. With so much schoolwork there was hardly time for mischief and fun. I needed this to survive. I wondered if I would meet any good pranksters around here. Maybe I could prank some people. I would figure that out but for now it was hang out with your bestie time!

I flashed her a thumbs up at her ideas. I grinned. This was all amazing. First, a trip to somewhere cool. Second, summer camp with your bestie. Third, new friends and new people. Fourth, new adventures and trouble-making. And fifth, quidditch!!! They had their first game soon. Sometime.
I was nervous but I was ready. I loved quidditch and had been preparing for it for a while. Exciting.
"Well, let's head over there!! I'm hungry and I'm itching to get moving!!" I said. I grabbed her hand and we walked over to where the DIY fair was set up.
"There's a bench over there that's free, we can sit there if you'd like! And you brought some food and drinks so let's eat!!" I exclaimed.
I looked around. There were plenty of people talking and laughing with their friends. A majority of those people were from Hogwarts and less so were from other schools. I glanced around curious at what the other schools students looked like.
Aside from Ilvermorny, I had only been to Hogwarts. I longed to go explore the other schools. Especially the far off ones like Mahoutokoro and Castelobruxo. And Uagadou. Even if we were playing those schools in quidditch. Good sportsmanship went a long way!
I turned toward Kaya, "Have you met anyone from another school, not Hogwarts or Ilvermorny?" I asked.

We began to eat the food on the bench now, it was good. I nodded my head. "I haven't met anyone either," I replied, "I do hope to meet someone soon though, that would be exciting! A real adventure!"
Adventures. We would have plenty of adventures here. I hoped to visit the Forbidden Forest, and Hogsmeade. Even if we weren't supposed to.
"Hmmm, adventures. Haha. Well, I was just thinking about that. I want to go to Hogsmeade and visit the Forbidden Forest. Of course we would enjoy the DIY fair as well but adventures are a must have. As for pranking, I'm not sure. I don't want to prank some random person who I don't know as that just isn't fair so..." I glanced at Kaya. She seemed to be thinking. "What are you thinking Kaya?"
I was very excited for this summer. It was going to be real fun. I had heard of a shop called Zonko's where we could buy our whole supply of pranking materials for a lifetime. Also Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. In Diagon Alley. And then of course we had to try the notorious butterbeer.
There was so much to do and I was so excited. In addition, Quidditch. Our first official quidditch game with the team. I couldn't wait.

I smiled at Kaya. I kind of agreed as well. While my reckless side wanted to go to Forbidden Forest, it was pretty dangerous. "Perhaps, another year when we are older for the Forbidden Forest, not today or this year, we have other things to do anyway. Yes we definitely should go to Hogsmeade. Well, fast yes, we could go by broom, then we would be really fast." I said. I closed my eyes thinking about the adventures. I opened my eyes as Kaya began to talk once again.
"Yes, we don't want to get lost, I agree. So maybe an older guide would be good. We can see if we can meet anyone perhaps. Do you know of anyone?" I asked. I didn't. Otherwise if couldn't find someone we would have to go alone.
I also hoped to prank some people though. We would have to ask around for the pranks though. See who we should prank and who would actually enjoy it.
Then we began to talk about Quidditch. "Oooh, yes I'm so excited for our first game! I have been waiting for ages!!" I replied, "Yes, I do hope so, we do have to win!!"
I was ready for the pressure and the excitement. I had been practicing for a while. And I hoped Kaya would be able to catch the snitch as Seeker and I would be able to help score as a Chaser.
I jumped at Kaya's idea. "YES! Diagon Alley! We should go there instead of the Forbidden Forest! They have Weasley's Wizard Wheezes! We can get all our pranking supplies for a lifetime!" I was really excited now.
"Well, I guess, we can go there without being caught since it is not off limits. Maybe we start with that? And then along the way we could meet someone hopefully who could help us get to Hogsmeade?" I asked, "If you're good with that then maybe we could go next week? After the DIY fair is over?"
I finished up eating everything from the picnic. It was a great day. And today would be even better if we could figure out our adventure plans.
