The place was enlighted by the earliest sunshine of the day. Haven smiled stupidly at the shining glow painting her white walls with a warm beige colour. It did look calm that way. Her in her bed, waking up to birds singing and smiling at the sun. A dazzling feeling of comfort. After sighing, Haven flipped her sheets and dragged herself out of bed. As soon as she stepped on the floor, she felt her sore muscles screaming to lay back on the mattress. Slapping them mentally, Haven intended to be fully awake. The young girl really needed the energy to stay focused today.

It was time to go. She sighed before reaching for the pile of clothes she prepared yesterday. Her mother had planned today to visit some of her dear friends and was excited to brag to them about how her daughter received her admission letter to Hogwarts. Haven smirked at the irony. It was nothing to display to others as exceptional. Her mother's friends had their son admitted into Durmstrang two years ago. It was common for pure-blood families to attend magic schools; moreover, her mother thought it best to show her acquaintances how her daughter was not a squib. A matter of reputation, Haven believed it to be. It was something she never entirely caught on to, all this talk about importance among families of the wizarding world.

Finally ready, the young witch eyed herself in the mirror. The entire outfit looked proper and adequate. Maybe the button-up shirt needed to be buttoned higher? She executed herself before sighing again. She actually looked odd in it. Button-up shirt, tie, plain skirt and suit jacket. It seemed like she was already wearing my Hogwarts uniform while she was heading to see friends of the family. It seemed excessive. Maybe her mother intended for her to look that way? Shrugging her shoulders, Haven seized her bag before running downstairs. At that rate, she might be late.

As soon as Haven entered the living room, she met the judging stare of her mother. Before straightening Haven's shirt with her hands, her mother sighed.

"Will you one day be presentable without needing me?" she questioned with a repressing gaze.
"Will I?" Haven answered with a smile.

Her mother shooked her head while letting a chuckle out.

"You'll never learn dear."

Haven loved my mother to be fair. She was a pretty loving lady if you put aside her aversion toward muggles and her constant need for her daughters to exceed all expectations. The young girl never felt unloved by any of her parents. Anyone could tell how happily they were living. Haven flashed a vivid smile in her mother's direction, to which she answered with a smirk.

"We're going to be late dear. We need to hurry." her mother stated while indicating the chimney "You know how Mrs Shelton hates latecomers."

Haven sighed. The Sheltons were friends of the family since long before her birth. Pillars of her mother's friend network. It would be a crime to disappoint them and being late was a way to do so.

"It's Glastonbury, right?" asked Haven while taking in her hand a pinch of the Floo powder stocked in a small box by the fireplace

Her mother smirked.

"You want me to go first perhaps?"
"I'll do alright by myself. I just need the precise localisation. You don't want me to end up in the wrong house, right?" replied Haven while dropping the powder in the flames.

These turned to a bright green towards which, Haven got close.

"It's Glastonbury." said her mother while shaking her head

Haven smiled before announcing the destination and entering the green fire.
