11 years ago on a rainy cold day in Galway, Ireland,Evelyn Rose Lilly was born to Nickolas and Margaret Lilly, who were both pure-bloods.
When Evelyn was 5 years old she caught her brothers school books catch on fire because he kept eating her chocolate. Her parents were happy that she had displayed magic.She was home schooled for her whole life and she only had a few friends, who she never saw all that often but she wrote owls to. She liked to read and knit a lot just like her friend hope. When she turned 6 years old her brother passed the test to begin apperating and this annoyed her to no end. That was because her brother felt the need to apperate everywhere now. He kept apperating behind her and yelling “ BOOO!!!” As loud as he could. Once when he did that she got scared and then his hair caught on fire. That was the second time that she had used accidental magic. Her parents grounded her for a week then.When she was 7 years old her mother became pregnant with her sister and the family house elf died. Nobody was sure of WHY she died just that she did. The house elf, Beepy, had been the family house elf but her brother was the main person who wanted her to do stuff for him, like making his bed, bringing his breakfast while he was still in bed and when he was younger, playing with him. He did not really miss the house elf much. Evelyn didn’t really know who the house elf was, since her parents mainly cooked and the house elf was normally not seen. When she was 8 her sister, Marigold Apple Lilly, was born. It was the worst thing that ever happened to her. Her sister, as Evelyn always said, was an evil menace. When ever she was not looking Marigold would draw on her bedroom walls and Evelyn would get in trouble for it. Because they thought Marigold was too sweet to do anything like that. Marigold would also mess up her books, steal her stuff than cry when she took it back, mess up her knitting, though she normally accidentally stepped on knitting needeles and Evelyn got in trouble even it was Marigolds fault for going in her room, the door was always closed, and Marigold always threw whatever she was eating at Evelyn if she was in the room. So Evelyn has to eat in the living room until they taught Marigold that she should not throw food. 3 weeks later her friend Hope came to visit. They played together and tried to avoid Evelyn’s sister. Though Hope went home soon because Marigold stabbed her with a toothpick and Hope wanted to get out of there, fast.
When she 9 and 10 nothing really happened. She got good grades, her sister was annoying and her brother was of age. Her brother always used magic for everything, like putting silencing charms on Marigold, which was helpful, because Marigold screamed whenever someone got any attention at all.
When Evelyn turned 11 she got her letter for hogwarts. They went to diagon ally and got all her supplies. They also got her sister a toy broom, some little kid books, and a toy wand. Marigold figured out how to use the toy wand really quick. The only thing it really did was shoot sparks but Marigold shot sparks out of it all the time. The part that Evelyn and her brother, Nickolas the 2nd, disliked was that they never got a toy wand or a toy broom when they were kids. Then Evelyn went to her room and thought of hogwarts.
