On the trip to Hogwarts Daffy had a great time.
She was chatting with Melody, Ben and Amanda all the way.
At first they were all a bit shy but then they talked as if they had known each other all their lives.
The conversation drifted to which house they wanted to go to.
I would like to go to Gryffindor said Daffy.
Me too of course, added her best friend.
I know it might sound weird but they are the two houses I like the most," said Amanda.
Well, anyone but Slytherin, I hate them said Ben.
So you would hate me if I went to Slytherin said Amanda pretending to be offended.
Well you'd just be nice, Ben reluctantly agreed.
Daffy laughed.
Well, we'll see which houses we go to, let's not worry now.
My sister told me we'll have to go across the lake in a boat to get to the castle, she says that's what first years do. Said Ben who had a sister in fifth year called Lily.
Wow, how exciting, said her best friend excitedly.
Look at Hogwarts," said Amanda excitedly.
It's beautiful.
I hope there's a nice bench because I'm starving," said Ben, who was always hungry.
I'm sure it is," Daffy said with conviction.
The train stopped and everyone got off.
