Closed Place of Comfort PV

Everyone has multiple layers. Some people call it masks, others believe it's how we learn how to live in society and how it must be...but the truth is, no one knows the other's heart, how it feels, how it beats...its own rhythm. To be fair, it doesn't have the same rhythm all the time, there are moments tho, when life seems to stop for a second longer, then it feels like if the world had came to a moment when you are forced to focus on yourself being, as if your heart demanded to be heard and have a moment of your attention. It was at a time like this that Ying felt like hiding and looking for what she missed so much, a moment of respite, a moment to do what she had always loved to do...

Slinging her too-heavy satchel over her shoulder, it seemed that its weight was a symbol of how much she allowed herself to be dragged down by demands and duties. She had to be the perfect daughter, the perfect student, the polite friend and always put on a clean and cared image. Was the weight of her name, of her parents expectations and the will to prove herself that she could be the best and make everyone proud of her, including herself. It was a big effort, to accomplish all that, especially when her very nature is disappointing to those who are supposed to love her unconditionally. But what was love really? That was the most foreign of words to the young girl, who always had lived with her father, who seemed to always be empty of any type of feelings. A gesture of affection? Maybe the times she had showed some good grades and deserved a nod of approval and...and when she played her piano, during those moments where no interaction was made beside the one who was playing dreamily and the other who was listening but not really there.

Although, the music was her escape, a place to forget about things she barely comprehended in such a young age. But the heart, her heart, always spoke to her, telling what it needed to heal. The soft notes, played with delicate small fingers, now on the ivory keys like her skin now on the ebony ones like her curious child gaze and silky straight hair. Moments, when the world outside just seemed to continue, but inside those walls of glass it was like she had went through a door to a fantastic and magical world, a playground were she could finally play freely.

Now, living in a world filled and made with magic, the young Gryffindor just wanted to find herself in it. Everything represented a new challenge, something to learn, something to catch up...because she had never seen magic, just read about it and her fairy tails were far to tell her the real truth. So she almost run when the last class went to an end, because she needed so desperately to be alone, alone with a piano and her music.

Arriving to the Rehearsal Room, as soon as her bag hit the floor was like that said weight just had left her small body and accelerated mind. The beautiful young child sat on the soft dark leather bench and caressed the keys. How many students and others had played in there? How many had found refuge in their sounds? So suddenly, she didn't felt alone anymore, because that realization brought her comfort, the idea that many others had been there and it was like their moments were engraved in those walls and so...she was not alone. She started to play, and her music felt like a strong and warm embrace and so she smiled, a real and happy smile. Her heart had what it had so desperately asked for and she had found her place of comfort in the old magical castle.
