Lorelai had neutral thoughts about Herbology. It was okay. She didn't love it or hate it. The girl was wearing her Castelobruxo robes, that she did like. They were comfortable and stylish, at least what she thought. It was hot, so she wore the skirt, instead of pants, she also preffered wearing skirts instead of pants. She came inside the large classroom and noticed a girl with her black hair in a bun. The seat next to her was tone of the only one empty ones, so Lorelai came over to her. "Hey, I'm Lorelai! Can I seat there?" she hoped she would say yes, because well, it was the only empty seat, other than a few seats in the back of the classroom, but she really did not like the back of the classroom, at all. Lorelai waited for a response, she didn't look Brazilian, so she probably wasn't. That was why Lorelai didn't ask her in Portuguese. "A aula vai começar daqui a pouco..." The class will start soon she mumbled, hoping she wouldn't understand or question what she said. Which, she regretted saying. The girl patiently waited for a response while holding her book. She didn't really care how long she waited, she just wanted a response, really. @Sage Willows

Sabrina nearly leaped out of her seat when a girl appeared at her side. She told in English Sabrina that her name was Lorelai and she wanted to sit next to her. Sabrina was so used to being left alone that she was in such a state of shock that she didn’t answer for a few moments.
“What? Oh, sorry you caught me off guard. Of course you can sit. I’m Sabrina.” Sabrina waved her hand to the chair next to her as if she were telling the girl, please, sit. Lorelai muttered something neither in English or Spanish which Sabrina had to assume was Portuguese, after all, she did look Brazilian. Sabrina studied her with caution. Lorelai had long brown hair and blue eyes. She was tall, far taller than Sabrina was.
“It’s hot today, isn’t it?” asked Sabrina, almost forgetting to speak in English. Even though Sabrina spoke English well, her Spanish accent was strong and made some of the words difficult to interpret. Sabrina lifted her left hand and fanned herself, which didn’t do much to help with the heat and humidity of Castelobruxo.
“Ugh, hoy hace mucho calor para aprender herbología inútil,” Ugh, it is way to hot today to be learning useless herbology whispered Sabrina angrily. Sabrina glanced over at Lorelai and said, “Do you speak Spanish?”

The girl stayed in silence for a few moments. She looked shocked. "Nice to meet you Sabrina!" the girl smiled. She sat down, putting her books down, before she did sit. Lorelai wasn't looking forward to class today, well, not just Herbology, but school. The girl was too tired for everything she needed to do, but since she was always making new friends, so, she thought this was the perfect opportunity. However, she still was pretty tired, since she had spent the whole night awake finishing knitting matching sweaters for her sisters. Sabrina said it was hot and asked if Lorelai agreed. She noticed the girl had a Spanish accent. Lorelai knew Spanish, so she could understand the words."It is. What's your favorite season?" Lorelai knew hers was Summer or Spring, but she didn't like when it was too hot, like today. In the Amazonian forest, it rained every day, which sometimes was nice, and sometimes wasn't. Today it hadn't rained yet. Lorelai hoped it would rain soon. She asked if Lorelai spoke Spanish; she did. So, she decided to answer in the language."Yo sí, en realidad. Es bastante similar a mi idioma nativo, el portugués, así que lo aprendí fácilmente." I do, actually. It's pretty similar to my native language, Portuguese, so, I learned it easily.

Sabrina nodded towards Lorelai as she smiled and sat down. It was way too hot to speak. However, she did her best to reply to Lorelai and said,
“Nice to meet you too.” Sabrina glanced over Lorelai, noticing how tired she looked. The feeling was mutual. Sabrina leaned back in her seat, nearly tipping the chair over and she caught on to the desk quickly. Lorelai agreed with Sabrina about the heat and then asked her what her favorite season was and Sabrina answered quickly.
“Any season that isn’t broiling hot,” she said, lifting a hand to fan her face to add to her point of the heat. Her hair felt heavy on her head. Maybe she should chop it all off to help her feel better. But then again probably not. She loved her hair even if it was a hassle most of the time. To Sabrina’s surprise, Lorelai answered her question about speaking Spanish in Spanish. She claimed it was similar to her first language, Portuguese. Sabrina nodded, still struggling to form words thanks to the Brazilian heat.
“Impresionante. Todavía no sé mucho portugués. Probablemente debería llegar a aprenderlo…”
Impressive. I don’t know much Portuguese yet. I should probably get to learning it… Sabrina said in Spanish. Sabrina didn’t say anything else for the remainder of the lesson. She leaned back in her seat again and zoned out. When the class ended, she gathered her things quickly and waved at Lorelai.
“Nice meeting you!” she called as she raced out the door.

It was true. It was way too hot for anything really. Lorelai enjoyed talking to Sabrina, and it was also nice to talk to a girl, since most of her friends were male. The school had way more boys than girls, so that was nice. She also liked the girl's name, it was really pretty. Maybe she knew the singer Sabrina Carpenter? Lorelai really liked the singer, ever since she discovered her after camp. She smiled, widely. She seemed like a nice girl, and fun to be with. "I get your point, but I love Summer. My favorite seasons are Summer and Spring. If I ever have a child, a daughter, I'll name her Summer. It's a pretty name and I love it." she said, smiling. As they moved on to speaking Spanish, Lorelai smiled even more. She was always happy, and living life to the fullest. Well, she was also curious, so she was a little impressed when she said she wasn't Brazilian, and instead, Bolivian. "Sí, es verdad. Casi todo el mundo habla portugués aquí, pero si quieres, ¡te ayudaré a aprender!" Yes, it's true. Almost everyone speaks Portuguese here, but if you want, I'll help you learn! said the girl. Class was almost over, so she observed as Sabrina grabbed her stuff. Then she did the same. Class ended and Lorelai was happy she focused more on getting to know this girl, Sabrina. "Yeah! It was so nice meeting you!" she said whilst smiling. Lorelai has left this thread
