Heavy Letter Full of Trouble
Axyen just felt sad, it was nearing Summer, there were many letters from his family trying to contact him, and now Axyen felt more ashamed of himself. It would've been better to at least give them a response... Axyen thought, he dragged himself to the Owlery, moving up the steps. Axyen had a letter in his hand, he couldn't believe he was doing this. He wanted to cry, he got ready to send the letter. A note in his pocket, Axyen scratched his head a little bit as he moved carefully up the stairs. Axyen felt a sense of dread doing this, Axyen was getting closer to his destination, becoming more scared and nervous the more he got closer to his destination, as if there was something terrible waiting for him at the top of the tower.
Axyen was horrified by how quickly he got to the top, it felt way too quick, he took out the note in his pocket. He remade it, for a few reasons, but he was still terrified about sending it off to his family, Axyen blinked back tears, one drop fell on the ground, then another. No Axyen, you have gotten THIS far. Just get it over with. Axyen told himself this, then put it on repeat, Axyen took out the paper.
Axyen was terrified of sending the letters, more drops of tears came down, running down his face, it felt cold, nearly as cold as the stone. Axyen went up towards an owl, it was brown, it seemed excited and happy, a perfect opposite to how Axyen was currently feeling. Axyen felt more shame and looked down, he was having second thoughts, he was hesitating, once he did this, there truly was no turning back. Axyen remembered that this was impossible, there simply was no way that he could lie about this over the summer, as the first thing his family would see when he came off the Hogwarts Express was Hufflepuff robes, while the rest of his family were all in Gryffindor. Axyen was scared as he folded up the letter and gave it to the brown owl, as it suddenly flew off into the distance, sending the letter to Axyen's family. Axyen broke down into tears, he regretted his decision to ignore all the letters, the shame felt way too heavy, even though that letter was gone, something still felt heavy, it was called shame.Dear mother,
I am sorry I have been silent about how things been at Hogwarts, especially because of how excited you have been about me going to Hogwarts and I fell like I owe you an explanation, but I do feel like I want to talk about a lot of things in person as well.
A lot has happened and a lot of thoughts have came up in my mind, and I don't know what to say to you first. I have two thoughts that have seemed to conflict me above all else. So I suppose I should just put it all in one letter, it has been a whole school year, so I don't know how I am supposed to make all of it fit on one piece of parchment, but I will try anyways.
First, Hogwarts is great! I love it here, I made a few friends here(tell my brother that!) and the professors I met so far have been really nice, classes have going well and I even learned a bunch of spell and potions! Isn't that wonderful mom? I am so happy I got to be at Hogwarts, so I am definitely looking forward to my second year here.
Second, I wish I could call this a prank, a poor joke, but there's no other way for me to say it... Mom, I am in Hufflepuff. I know you wanted me to be in Gryffindor, but the Sorting Hat place me in Hufflepuff and it really isn't bad. I am sorry I have been keeping this from you all year, and I hope you aren't mad at me, I was just scared that you would be disappointed in me.
Third, I wanted to say that for my third year, I was planning on taking Muggle Studies, I know how you feel about that, and I prefer talking to you about it in person, but I does relate to Muggles, and I know how you feel about it, so I feel like it would be better to talk about it in person.
Fourth, I also wanted to ask you about me making some friends, this year at Hogwarts had me wondering a bunch of things and I don't know how to feel about it, but I also would prefer talking to you about it in person as well, I just feel like it would be more responsible to do it like that.
Fifth, I know you have been sending me messages, and I am sorry for ignoring them, I was just scared to send you any reply because I was worried on how you would react to this news, I am sorry for ignoring the messages and keeping all of this from you.
I know this is a bunch of news, and that's why I was scared to tell you, a lot has been happening since the start of the year, on the bright side, I am planning on joining the dueling team next year now that I know some spells.
I hope you're not disappointed in me mom, I hope that I can be accepted even after everything this year, it was a wonderful year so I want to talk to you about it in person.
Can't wait you hear from you soon,
Axyen Dragonclaw

Axyen Dragonclaw
Axyen slowly went back down towards the stairs, this time it took forever before Axyen left the Owlery, somehow, in some way, nothing felt real anymore. It felt like some horrible dream, a nightmare. None of that had happened... right? Did ANY of that happen? Was it all in my head? Is this a dream? What if it isn't? What will my mom think? What will my dad think? What will my brother think? Will they accept me? Will they be mad at me? Will they be disappointed? Will they not care or maybe even be... proud of me? These questions repeated inside Axyen's head, all in random order, somehow though, a bit of pressure seemed to have lifted, like a big boulder that was on top of Axyen disappearing, yet there was a lot of it left, the shame was still there. Axyen left the Owlery, so much has happened, he wouldn't believe anything that had just happened. Axyen finally noticed tears streaming down his face, it was all coming out, Axyen wiped his eyes, but more tears appeared, they kept flowing, the tears reached the ground. Axyen wiped his eyes more and more, until Axyen could blink it away. Axyen quickly, without making a scene got to his Common Room as quickly as he could, he would need to go somewhere private, just to cry, it felt like it was needed, and keeping it in felt like it was way too much. Axyen blinked more and more tears back.
Finally, the sight of the Common Room, a welcome sight to Axyen. As soon as he entered, the room seemed to welcome Axyen like it always did, it felt comforting, it felt like a place that didn't judge you, no matter how many mistakes you made, big or small. It would always bring comfort to those who needed it seemed. Axyen slowly got to his dormitory, he found a quiet corner to cry, to let it all out. Somewhere would nobody would go, so nobody could judge Axyen. That letter was important, and deep down, Axyen knew what he did was correct, no matter how much he tried to deny that. Or maybe it wasn't, but Axyen truly felt that it was the right thing to do, to be honest with them so it wasn't some huge surprise, he was terrified that the brown owl might come out of nowhere, but instead of a normal letter, it would be a howler yelling at Axyen, words of disappointment, anger. Axyen didn't want to see that brown owl right now, right now Axyen needed some time to himself, and that way things would be a lot more better, Axyen would be able to better handle the situation with a more clear mind. However, Axyen could deal with preparing for a potential Howler any day now, or just a normal letter, both would hurt either way. Axyen truly didn't regret the trip to the Owlery, it was where he made an important decision, he constantly looked around him to make sure nobody could see him.Out-Of-Character InformationClothes
