─────The United States had some pretty cool landmarks. Not that Seven had seen any of them yet. They had arrived with their family, exhausted, and had plopped down on their hotel bed with a book. However, around twelve hours had passed and it was time to start going site seeing like a real tourist, which was more or less what Seven had become.
Their parents had wanted to visit the most popular areas first, which was why they were in Los Angeles, about to go see the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It was all exciting, but, to Seven, the best part was that they were back in the Muggle world. It was where they had grown up. Although Hogwarts was amazing and practically everyone loved it, Seven didn't think of the place as home. It was simply a school. One for magical children. Yep, that was fairly hard to believe, but it was true. Seven knew magic. They had a wand and everything.
But that was beside the point. Seven was heading toward the Walk of Fame, which had a cool name. Their life was about to change. They would see a very well-known place and it would just be the best thing ever.

─────Hollywood was amazing. At least, it was so far. Seven loved it and they began wondering what it was like for people who actually lived in Los Angelos. Did they realize how cool their home was? Maybe, but also maybe not. Things aren't as awesome when you have the option to see them all the time.
"Ice cream?" Seven's father suggested, disturbing their train of thought.
Seven and their mother agreed and they set off to get a cold, sweet treat. Ice cream was one of Seven's favorite desserts. Putting toppings on made it especially good, but they also liked sherbet without chocolate sauce and sprinkles, although it was hard to resist having a cherry on top.
So Seven ordered sherbet, their father requested rocky road, and their mother chose vanilla.
After the three got their ice cream, they picked a table and, just as Seven was about to begin eating, their mother asked, "Could you get some napkins for us?"
Seven tried not to sigh. They simply wanted to eat their ice cream. But it wasn't like they could disobey their parents. Besides, all they had to do was walk over and grab a few napkins.
They stood up and started to make their way toward the napkins.

─────Seven heard a voice and they looked up. "Oh, uh, no. I live in London, England. I'm just on vacation with my parents. Do you live around here?"
It wouldn't be a bad thing to make a friend. Even if it would be short-term, it would be nice to have someone to hang out with. There was only one problem. Seven would have to get a good conversation going. One that was interesting, but not overly so.
They had started off strong, but they couldn't be sure of what would happen next. At any point, the girl could say something completely out of the blue and Seven would have to quickly think of a response. Or, perhaps there would be an awkward silence and they would have to say something, anything, to keep the conversation going. Interactions were tiring. Luckily, though, the girl seemed to be confident and nice, which was a perfect combination.
Seven already had so many questions to ask her. Although, it was a possibility that being too excited would drive her away. Still, they wanted to become friends. To ask about siblings, school, favorite subject, favorite ice cream flavor, favorite animal, and lots more. To get to know her.
