Company and Cuddles Pet

Juniper had wanted a pet of his own for a long time. He had been told he just wanted a type of responsibility but the truth was he wanted company and cuddles.

Wandering into the Magical Menagerie he covered his ears instantly. The shop was full of hissing, tweeting and many other animal noises.
Juniper wanted to make sure he picked the right animal. He went over to the toads and saw a bright green one croaking silently.
"Aww." Juniper said quietly.
Toads were an option. One thing Juniper didn't want to do was have too many options as Juniper would struggle to pick as usual.

Scanning through the owls, he spotted the cutest one out of a cute bunch. Owls are an option.

Finally he reached the cages where the were hissing and miaowing loudly. Cats were 100% an option. Juniper had wanted a cat for ages but his step-brother was allergic.

He saw a cat that he recognised as a silver siberian. After a few minutes of admiring the cat he gathered the courage to go and ask how much it was.

"Hi! How much are the silver siberian cats?" Juniper asked the shopkeeper nervously.
"15 galleons." the shopkeeper replied smiling.
Juniper felt his stomach sinking he only had 11 galleons.

"I don't have enough, I'll keep browsing, thank you." Smiling but slightly disappointed he walked away.

Juniper walked back to the cat cages and saw a stripy cat that was really cute but on the cage was a sign saying the price, unfortunately Juniper didn't have enough.

Seeing a grey tabby cat miaowing he wandered to see it and it began purring when Juniper put his fingers against the edges of the cage.

There was a sign saying how much the cat was but the price was faded but Juniper could make out that it said 10 galleons. He had enough.

Stroking the cat through the bars the cat was marking him and purring happily.

"Are you going to be mine?" Juniper whispered to the cat. The cat purred even louder.

He went to the counter and said he had made his decision and took the shopkeeper to the grey cat.

"Good choice." the shopkeeper opened the cage and reached inside picking the cat up and carefully placing him in Juniper's arms still purring.

The shopkeeper went to get a crate and returned a moment later and put the cat in the cat crate.

They went to the counter and the shopkeeper said it was 10 galleons. Juniper pulled ten galleons from his pocket and handed them over thanking the shopkeeper.

Leaving the shop happily with a new companion.
