Hogwarts Hijinks
January, 2023 First Year
Delilah strolled through the lush grounds of Hogwarts, the gentle breeze playing with her huge, blonde curls. She took in the sights and sounds of nature, enjoying the tranquility that enveloped the surroundings. Her curls bouncing as she walked, she sported a pair of oversized brown cargo shorts reaching just above her knees with huge pockets on the side, the shorts were complemented by a flowy, bohemian-style blouse in a bold, eye-catching pattern. On her feet, Delilah was wearing a pair of well-worn sneakers, their once pristine white now adorned with specks of dirt and grass stains
Paths meandered through the grounds, their cobblestones worn smooth by countless footsteps over the years. They led to hidden nooks and crannies, secret spots where students could find solace or engage in playful adventures. A small brook gurgled nearby, its crystal-clear waters shimmering under the gentle sunlight. The soothing sound of the water provided a melodic backdrop to the scene.
Creatures both magical and mundane could be spotted in the distance. From the graceful flight of owls delivering mail to the mischievous scurrying of squirrels, the grounds were alive with a vibrant array of creatures going about their own business.
As she meandered along the winding path, her eyes caught sight of a young girl, dressed in Ravenclaw robes, sitting comfortably under a shade-giving tree.
Curiosity piqued, Delilah found herself drawn to the intriguing contrast in the girl's hair. The sides and back showcased natural brown strands, while the top boasted a lively, dyed blonde wave. Delilah couldn't help but suppress a giggle as she admired the unique hairstyle.
Taking a seat on a nearby bench, Delilah observed the girl, her mischievous grin betraying her amusement. She wondered if the girl had intentionally chosen such an unconventional hair color combination or if it was simply a whimsical fashion choice. Either way, it certainly made for an interesting and eye-catching appearance.
Delilah giggled silently. She wasn't judging her, or was she ?

─────Seven had decided to be spontaneous. Well, not really. They merely chose to go outside instead of sitting in the Hogwarts library or the Ravenclaw common room. Fresh air was a good thing that they hadn't been getting much of lately. They brought only their schoolbag, though it had quite a bit of stuff packed in.
It didn't take long to find a nice, shady tree. It was an oak tree, slightly hidden, but visible to people who looked closely. Those people were those who preferred to stay on the path, safer, but less adventurous than some of the other students. Or perhaps they just wanted somewhere to go hiking. Well, not quite that. But walking on a trail. That was basically hiking.
Seven shuffled around in their bag for a moment. Then they brought out the current book they were reading. It was called Human Acts and was by Han Kang. Seven hadn't gotten very far in the novel, but it was interesting enough.
They sat down with their knees pulled halfway up to their chest, providing a place to rest their book as they read. Seven sighed contentedly and allowed themself to sink into a wonderous world within the pages.
