Gotta get to Hogwarts!
Bold= Isabelle talking, Underline= someone else talking
The air was chillier than it should've been considering how many bodies were packed onto the platform. Maybe it was nerves, but Isabelle's hands shook slightly as the train approached the station. Big, red and looming, Hogwarts suddenly felt closer than ever. Her mother continued to fuss over her lint-covered sweater, continually asking her father if he was absolutely sure she had everything. Mary I assure you she is well prepared. I dare say her trunk is more filled than mine was! Isabelle laughed, remembering the stories her father told her of his mother, her Nana, overstuffing his trunk on his first trip to Hogwarts. Her books, neatly stacked in rows with the spines facing up, sat next to her scales and cauldron, which rattled when they pushed the trolley. I'll be okay Mom, and for once she believed it. She had been waiting years for her first wand, her sorting ceremony, and know it was here. Adventures to be had, lessons to be learned, and--hopefully-- a chance to discover her path! Suddenly, before she could blink it seemed, she was on the Hogwarts Express, waving out a window as the station turned into a cloud of smoke. Isabelle sat in her empty compartment and quickly began reading "Hogwarts, A History".

Gotta get to Hogwarts!
speech | thoughts | James speaks
interacting with @Isabelle Artt
Mark and his brother head to Platform 9 3/4 with their mother. Mark and James both board the train after saying goodbye to their mother. Mark is becoming a second year once he gets to Hogwarts and his brother James is becoming a seventh year. This'll be the last year Mark will be seeing his brother at Hogwarts.
"You gonna sit with some of your friends?" James asks Mark after finding a compartment with his friends in it.
"Maybe. I'll see ya at school!" Mark says.
He gave his brother a hug before walking around the train and looking for a compartment with either his friends or an empty compartment. Passing by a lot of compartments, Mark didn't find any, until he saw a compartment with a girl sitting alone reading a book.
He walked over to the compartment and opened the door. He looked at the girl and wondered if she was a first year or not, since she did look younger than him. He then decided to ask if he can sit in the compartment, so he said,
"Hello. D'you mind if I sit in here? If not I could always find a different one. Also, sorry if I scared you."
"You know sometimes in life, things just ain't meant to be."
