Pale clouds loomed over Hogwarts resembling a ghost-like figure. The Grounds were overshadowed by them. Its unweeded forest hammered by the violent winds foreboding an approaching storm, a wall of towering pine trees shook and swayed as one, manipulated by the currents.

A short, fragileΒ figure emerged from the bushes, fleeing the pitch-black vegetative void. He slung his cloak over his shoulders and tied a soft scarf comprisedΒ of black and yellow over his neck. Oliver entered the Hogwarts grounds as grass whipped at his socks and pants, his robe and scarf spreading out from his back like a flag catching the wind. The journey was exhausting, as the gale constantly harassed him in an attempt to push him off his own two feet. The sun had begun to rise, showering the castle with harsh, heavy rays from the east.

In the hours that followed, Oliver skipped breakfast in the Great Hall. Instead, he returned to the Hufflepuff Commonroom in secret, just as the first students rose to get ready for the long day ahead. Oliver got little to no rest before the exhausted sighs of the victims of double potions grabbed their books and fled to the hallways. Oliver got out of bed in a slothlike manner and left the commonroom in an effort to attendΒ to his potion lesson. The dreadful muttered, hiding his face under his sleeves, "Why couldn't it have been flying, or even Defence Against the Dark Arts," as he knelt down towards his station and listened to the calming lull of his bubbling concoction, which changed orientation between a coolish green and cerulean blue like a chameleon. Eventually and mostly with the help of his sympathetic professor, Oliver made it through the double potion period, as students leaked from the oak doors of several classes into the warmly-lit corridors of the castle, the common sound of clasping footsteps on the stone tiling, and the constant chatter stressed-out, self-assured, and carefree students alike felt strangely dull in Oliver's ears. All Oliver could hear was his own voice, nagging at him to stay awake and stay focused, as though a headache had materialised spreading clear throughout his forehead. He stumbled through a pack of fourth-year students and fell onto a bench that had been hammered into the wall of the corridor. He braced himself against the wall to prevent hitting his head, he knelt down onto the bench to get as comfortable as he could while contending with the sudden wave of terrible sickness. He knelt down while trying not to gain more attention than he already has.

Sorry for taking so long <3
Mellani was tired of a lot of things. All she wanted to do was sleep for one day, but after a bit of debating with herself, she had decided that bunking classes just to sleep at a place like Hogwarts might not be the best idea.

Mellani groaned after a look at the time-table. Their day literally started with double potions! Of all things. Not that she didn't like the professor, she did, but she didn't really find potions very interesting. It seemed a lot like cooking, only more precise and slightly harder to do, and Mellani hated cooking too! Mellani did manage to do everything properly though, even though she did not find the point in doing all of it.

When the classes finally ended, Mellani walked out, slightly more exhausted than she had been. Mellani wasn't talking to anyone, she didn't really have any friends, after all. It didn't take long for Mellani to notice another person from their classes walk away, looking sick. Mellani wondered if she should approach him, knowing that he might not like it. Mellani might be tired, but that did not affect her kindness in any way, and the decision was simple. She would approach him, and if he did decide that he didn't want to talk, she would deal with it then. Mellani wouldn't mind walking him to the Nurse either, if things came to that.

Mellani walked up to the bench where he was seated. Damn, he looked like he had spent the entire night without sleep, and looking at him was like looking at a person who was already half dead. "Hey... Are you okay? Would you like to go to the nurse?", she asked softly, making sure not to startle him. She still wasn't sure if she was doing the right thing, but to her, it did feel like the right thing, and Mellani was ready to go on with it.
