Closed A friendship fallen from a tree

Conan had seen through his window that the weather was fine and, of course, he couldn't resist the temptation to go for a walk outside.
It was very warm and pleasant, and several pupils were running and playing in the castle.
Conan was walking and at the same time thinking about his family, especially Draco. How had he taken the news that he was not a wizard, despite his proud pureblood family? And Norman, who had left Hogwarts this year and was going to have to go to all the charity balls organised by the upper classes of pure-blood wizards in order to meet his rich future wife?
And Ruby, too, still forced by her grandmother to behave like a lady, not to go out, not to climb trees, just to sew and cook?
The Clarck children had never had what they wanted in their lives. Of all of them, Conan was the luckiest because he was exactly what his father wanted. He was tall, he looked like him and he was a wizard. He had just one flaw: he liked to screw things up just to piss his father off.
Norman wasn't intelligent enough for his father, while Conan, although noisy, was a brilliant pupil. Draco was just the disappointment of the family, not being a wizard, and Ruby... well, Ruby was a girl, and her father wanted boys.
All these thoughts irritated Conan and the boy shook his thick black hair to chase away his darker thoughts.
Then he saw a beautiful tree, with lots of branches, and remembered when he used to climb those in the park with Ruby, Draco and Norman. Without thinking too hard, the boy grabbed a branch and started to climb, climb, climb, higher and higher.
At one point, as he tried to put his foot on a branch, it snapped violently in two and he fell. Before he had time to scream, the boy landed heavily on the grass, before he felt a presence beside him.
