Madi was born in London on January 18, 2011, to Helena and Caison McQuade. She attended Knightsbridge School. Her parents put a lot of money into her school, and they were always assisted by Madi's extended family for paying for it, since much of Madi's family that lived in London had gone there. Madi enjoyed school, she prided herself in doing well. She was good at nearly every subject, something that did not earn her many friends, but she didn't mind. She had friends that lived nearby her, and she had a tiny group of friends at school. She didn't think she needed a lot of friends, anyway. Her parents owned a small business that they were working in nearly all the time. She spent most of the time in the flat above the store, reading any books she could get. She loved to read. Books were all she got for Christmas or her birthday anymore, and she had three bookshelves in her bedroom stuffed full, and she'd read most of them multiple times. She didn't mind being alone when she had something to read. Books were all the company she had when her parents were working long nights.
However, Madi's parents would take a few weeks off in the summer and close the shop to head to France to see the rest of their family. They were both born in France, but only Madi's father's family remained there. Some of mother's family had lived in London for quite some time, and after her mother moved, the rest moved with her. They visited there, where Madi's grandmother lived on a big house in a big plot of land in the country. Her cousins and aunts and uncles would come too. This was always Madi's favorite part of the year. It was always very important to her.
When Madi was eight, her sister Analia was born. Her mum spent a lot more time in the flat, and they would spend nights reading together and playing card games. They would visit the family that lived in London. But then, a year later, a professor turned up at their door and gave her the Hogwarts letter, explaining to her that she was a witch.

Madi had been in her flat, alone, like usual. She was trying to multitask, reading and getting up to get some food from the kitchen. She knocked into the bookshelf that was kept in the living room, and her mother's favorite glass vase fell on the floor and shattered. Madi only had thirty minutes until her parents would come upstairs and see what she had done, and it shattered into so many pieces that it was unable to be fixed using glue. Madi had spent the entire thirty minutes worrying about what her mother would do when she saw the vase broken. When she heard her parents coming up the stairs coming from the store below, she went to greet them. She tried to get them to the kitchen for some food so they wouldn't see the vase, but they went into the living room. Madi closed her eyes, waiting for her mother to start yelling, but it never came. When she opened her eyes, she found the vase sitting on the bookshelf, as good as new.

- madi loves the outdoors and often finds herself covered in dirt. she's also clumsy and tends to fall a lot. most of her clothes have been covered with dirt at one point.

Ara Villa: met her in diagon alley (so far not much to say)
