Hera went to the Magical Menagerie with her older brother Alex. It was semester break and her mother would let her get any animal she wanted if she was good in classes. She had worked well until the semester break, so she was in front of this shop with her brother now.

"I hope you pick a decent animal, Hay head."

On her brother's left shoulder was his rat, Ryan, as usual. He came with Hera because his mother had a job. They entered the shop together.

Magical Menagerie was really cramped but spacious. There were cages all around and it was very loud. Cats were meowing, owls were chirping, snakes were hissing. Hera actually knew which animal to buy, but she had not yet decided which species to buy. Meanwhile, an elderly couple greeted them. They were both white-haired and cheerful. The old woman spoke in a cheerful voice.

"Welcome. Alex, I see you take good care of Ryan. I can see that he is happy with you. You must be Hera, right?"

"Honey, if you want, let's leave the girl alone and let her choose her spirit animal. Alex, you might want to look into products for rats too."

In this way, Hera left them at the entrance and started to go to the place where the animals were. Actually, she has always wanted to buy a cat, but now she feels quite indecisive.

As she thought this, she felt something rub against her legs. When she looked, she saw a gray cat with sweet curves walking between her legs. Hera knew that this was for the purpose of possessing the cat. She bent down smiling.

"You want to come home with me sweetie?"

When the cat meowed happily, she rubbed her thumb and under her chin. Maybe my spirit animal has found me, she thought to herself. She carefully picked up the cat and started walking towards the entrance.

When she returned to the safe, she saw that the old man and her older brother, Alex, were in deep conversation. The old woman came up to him and spoke in a cheerful and lively voice.

"I see you've met Kai. She's a Gray Mackerel Tabby and a suitable pet for the likes of you. Kai is now 4-5 years old and will be a very good spirit pet. She was born on October 4, 2019, in the month of autumn."
