I'm Ready
Gemm was so excited to go to Hogwarts, something she'd think to only experience in her dreams.
As she approached the wall between platforms nine and ten, a sudden chill ran down her spine. Was she really ready for this? What would everyone think of her? was all she could think about.
Running straight through a brick wall was not what she had expected to on her first day. What if it didn't work?
No, don't say that, you can do this is what she thought right before she started to run right for the wall. If she ran fast and didn't think about it, she would be fine, right?
She closed her eyes and started running, the noise of the squeaky wheels on her trolley taking over her thoughts. Until, she stopped. Slowly, she opened her eyes to see that she made it. Gemm was so relieved that it worked or else she'd probably have a broken nose.
Right in front of her was the Hogwarts Express. It was a huge red train with too many windows to count, running down the cabins on the side of the train.
All around her there were whistles blowing, parents hugging their children goodbye, youngsters chasing each other around the train, and magical pets whining in their cages.
She was ready, she could feel it. Hogwarts, you better be ready, because here I come.
