Doll-Crafting
This time Cassie is in the library for a different reason, not to read, not to do homework, but to make dolls. She has a meeting with the Gryffindor girl Hera Green. She has brought all her tools. The cloth, the cotton and the small eyes to sew on the dolls.
Her mother used to make dolls for her to play with. She has seen how to make dolls and practised a bit. She is quite confident with her skills. She finds an empty desk and lays all her things on the desk. That's a lot. They will be each making sixteen dolls, yes, this is a lot, but after all, they are thinking of spending a whole day here. They will be making dolls of students in different houses. She has prepared the materials in to small bags. Each bag represents a doll.
There will be four dolls for Gryffindor, four for Hufflepuff, four for Ravenclaw and four for Slytherin. Now, all Cassie has to do is to sit next to the desk and wait for Hera, that pretty Gryffindor girl. She looks at her clock, there meeting time will approach in five minutes, Hera must be coming soon. They will finish part of them this time though. All sixteen dolls are just too much.

Doll-Crafting
Hera was very excited. She was going to make a doll for the first time. That's why he was excited. She packed some snacks in her bag and left the common room.
She was to meet Ravenclaw daughter Cassie at the library. The fact that there weren't many people in the library gave him some relief. She was not a crowd lover.
She saw Cassie on an empty table with her belongings. She came over to talk to Cassie, thinking she could do a little better talking to her since she had met her before.
"Hey Cassie. Nice to see you again. I am making a toy for the first time. I am very curious."
She smiled and sat next to Cassie. She couldn't help but wonder what the babies would be like. I didn't really know how they were going to do it actually, so she turned to Cassie again and spoke.
"How are dolls made? I've never tried in my life."
She said this with some shyness. Not knowing made him feel a little bad. Then he thought of the chocolates and candies in his bag. She opened her bag and took out two chocolate frogs and handed one to Cassie.
"You want a Chocolate Frog?"

Doll-Crafting
Soon, Cassie sees Hera, the beautiful Gryffindor girl is walking towards her happily and curiously. 'Well, doll-making is fun, I will teach you as we are making them. My mother used to make dolls for me when I am young, it's really fun! Oh... Yes! I would love to have one. Thank you!' She takes the frog and peels it. She pops the frog into her mouth. 'Ooh, Albus Dumbledore! Nice~'
She moves the sixteen bags to Hera. 'Here, as you have plenty of time today, we will each be making sixteen dolls, four for each house. We don't have to finish all of them today though. Four to eight is great, perhaps.'
She opens a bag and starts to show her how to do everything. 'First, open this bag of yours labeled Gryffindor A. It will be our first doll to make. Now, take out the picture printed inside. It will be how the dolls will look like when finished.' She pulls the picture out of the bag, and asks Hera to follow her. It is acute Gryffindor girl with blonde hair and brown eyes. 'Do you like Defense Against the Dark Arts?' Cassie asks as she pulls out the rest materials.
'First, we sew the main skin of the doll. Then we will stuff the cotton.' Cassie pulls out the skin coloured piece of cloth, the two small pieces will later form the body of the doll. 'These are already cut for you. Stack them together, so that they exactly match with each other.' She pulls out a needle and some skin-coloured thread. 'Now, follow me. Fold the thread into halves. Make a small knot at the end of the thread. Done. Flip the two layers so they are inside out. Then, let your needle go through the inner part of the upper layer of the cloth. Now. See? Then, start sewing, watch carefully to how I sew and follow me.' Cassie starts sewing.
Soon, half of the two cloth are sewn together. 'Remember to pull your thread tight. Good job.' Soon, all of the sides are sewn together except for one small hole left, it can be done with two more turns of sewing. 'Good, now, great. I see you caught up with me. The leg parts are difficult to sew right? Now, flip your layers inside out and take out your cotton.' Cassie says as she pulls the puff of cotton out. 'Stuff it through the hole you left, good, don't pull your needle out. Stuff all of them.' Cassie says as she stuffs her cotton. 'Look,stuff all of them. Stuff them tight with your finger. Good. Now you can sew your final sews.' Cassie says as she continues. 'Now, final step before everything is done. Look, make this final knot on your thread. Come, follow me. Great! Cut the left thread. We're done with the most difficult but important part. Congrats!'
