Mark wondered if someone other than his brother could be his study buddy. He wanted someone around his age to be his study buddy, but he also didn't mind the year or house. Mark decided to leave the common room. He took all of his things and walked to the Study Room.
When he got to the Study Room, he sat down and put stuff onto the table. He than waited for someone to join him so he can study with someone. He decided to open up one of his books and decided to do some homework while waiting for someone to join him.
He looked around the Study Room and noticed that everyone had someone with them to study with, but so far Mark has no one. He than hoped that someone would come over to him soon. While waiting he finished one assignment but he was stuck on his other's. He knew that he could've just stayed with his brother, but he wanted to go his homework somewhere else.
Mark looked up and still noticed that no one was coming towards him. He sighed than looked back down and tried to read what was in front of him. When he looked back up, he saw a Ravenclaw girl coming over to him.
"You know sometimes in life, things just ain't meant to be."
