Akina arrived from the library, carrying the books she had bought with her, and placed them down on the rustic table in front of her. She had to do her Defense Against the Dark Arts homework. To her, when she had nothing to do, she got bored, so might as well do her homework. Time passed, and soon, her eraser was pretty much dead. She rubbed it on one of her mistakes, and it had no effect. Akina groaned and put her still unfinished homework back in her bag. Now she was bored. She leaned back, stretching her legs.
Soon, her thoughs carried her away, like the burden of wanting to be in Ravenclaw. Akina cringed at the horrible thought. She hadn't told anybody about this, but she really, really wanted to be in Ravenclaw. How could she be in Gryffindor? Akina was one of the shyest in Hogwarts, if you asked her. After all, her whole family had been in Ravenclaw. She was very intelligent; how come she wasn't in Ravenclaw. This went on for a while before the sky hinted that it was almost sunset. Great, Akina thought. I was supposed to finish my homework today, but all I've been doing is sitting around brooding!
Akina decided to stay a bit longer, so she opened up one of her books. It was easier the pass time even more when you were reading a book, for Akina. Within a minute, she was completely absorbed in her book, oblivious to the movement all around her. Somewhere, the cry of a fleeting owl could be heard in the quiet, and time seemed to stop as she read.

Walking into the study room, it reminded her of home as her dad's friend who she used to visit had one, less magical of course. Clara noticed another person with a piece of paper in front of them, assuming it was homework of some kind but they let out a groan of frustration Noticing that the other person seemed to struggle with their eraser, Clara debating on going to help - not because she was mean but she could not speak without it getting awkward. She took a deep breath and walked up to them “Hi! Need a new eraser?"She asked, bringing out a pencil case of scented erasers that her father bought her for school. There was a tiger inspired one, smelling of oranges, a horse inspired smelling like cherries and even a Fish inspired one smelling of peaches! “You can have one if you want! Oh, my name's Clara by the way!" She smiled lightly, hey she was getting better at this talking to other people thing! Hopefully the other person did not mind her awkwardness . “They're so cute, and the scents are amazing!" She blurted out. “Oh, sorry! I tend to talk a lot when it's something I enjoy." She said, playing with her long, blonde hair in some embarrassment

Akina looked up at the sound of another's voice and shut her book. “Hi! Need a new eraser?" the voice said brightly. There was a girl with green eyes. Cool, green eyes! Never seen that before, Akina's thoughts babbled at once. The girl pulled out her pencil case, and when she opened it, cute erasers spilled out, apparently scented. She took the tiger one out, as tigers were her favorite animal. Akina gave it a sniff. Instantly, a nice, orange-flavored aroma filled her nose. "Thank you," Akina said politely. She pulled out her homework again, and rubbed the eraser on the mistake. When she was done, she held out the eraser for the girl. "Oh, my name's Clara by the way!" the girl introduced herself.
Akina nodded. "My name is Akina," she responded. "Do you come here often? It's my first time here. I usually go to the library around 3 times a day instead." Akina shut her mouth to force herself to stop rambling and listened. “Oh, sorry! I tend to talk a lot when it's something I enjoy." Clara said. Akina nodded again, to show that she had acknowledged this, because she was busy putting her homework away.
"No worries. Thanks to you, I finished my homework!" Akina joked, not wanting to show that she was shy. It was awkward when you were talking to a person you just met, but even more awkward when you made a not-funny joke.

Clara smiled at the other person, “No worries! You can keep it if you like, I've got loads!” Hopefully her father would not mind as it was better to share then keep in other's struggle. Ah, so her name was Akina , a sweet name. She smiled, they seemed to be getting on well. Swiftly, Toffee jumped onto the table and made Clara quickly off-guard. “Sorry, that's my pet rat Toffee." Clara apologized to Akina before scooping Toffee up and putting her back in her mobile carrier. Clara nodded towards Akina. “Homework is a struggle, I know the feeling. And the worst bit is the pressure stacked on to complete it Hopefully, Akina did not mind her talking about homework. It was relatable after all “Speaking of homework, I've got homework to get done so if you don't mind..but we can still talk." Clara quickly sat down and pulled out her homework and a not extremely fancy quill. She quickly bobbed her head up and down between each word she wrote just in case Akina wanted to say something else or was going to ask Clara a question, she did not want to ignore Akina at all, as it was quite rude. And Clara was always polite.

Sorry for the kind of late reply! it didnt show up on my rememberall for some reason
Akina's jaw dropped. "You mean it?" she took the cute tiger eraser back, smiling. She had never met anyone so kind before! She took out her leather bag and put it in with some other books. Akina was taken by surprise when a rat hopped onto the table. "Toffee is a nice name," Akina said, watching the rat. She had seen two pets
in her time at Hogwarts now, one pygmy puff and now a rat. Akina planned to get a cat in the future, but she was always too busy to buy one.
"Homework is a struggle, I know the feeling. And the worst bit is the pressure stacked on to complete it," Clara said. Akina nodded in agreement, dragging her black boots across the soft rugs absentmindedly. "I agree, but sometimes it's nice to have something to do," Akina responded. Clara said that she had work to do, and this was understandable.
For a few moments, Akina watched Clara scribble some things down. She raised her eyebrow at the simple quill that Clara was using to do her homework. "If you don't want to use that quill, the Study Room always has some spares," Akina said, brandishing a quill from a nearby table in her direction. "Which class is your homework for?" Akina asked, all shyness forgotten.
