A warm, new home!
As Clara walked into the Magical Menagerie, the stench of the place hit her nose. “Seems quite loud today, there's loads of animals.." She murmured. Clara's eyes gazed round the building, there was loads! But it was nicely decorating.
From cats, to rabbits but the girl decided to walk around and see her opinion. First, cats. “Seems quite feisty, I don't want them ripping up the common room and me having to pay for it.." Clara walked on to the next one, ferrets. “No, the way their bodies are so flexible makes me sick.." Weird opinion in others eyes but for Clara, ferrets are disgusting.
Now, what was next? Of course the rabbits! “Uhh, again it might rip up the common room, I'll see with lizards next.." She bended down to see them. “Maybe, maybe not?.. Seems cute but I dislike the feeling of their scales. We'll see.." Next, the frogs. “No, I want something that is less..wet." Finally but not least, were the rats. “Ooohh! Yeah!!" She exclaimed, overjoyed. “These brown ones seem cute! When I get to the counter, I am gonna name it Toffee, after the colour of the fur!" Clara squealed. Now, to find the shop owner. Looking around, there was a elder gentlemen behind her. “Ooh, did you need to get past?" Clara asked, surprised. “I see you like that little one, don't you?" The elder gentleman chucked. Going red, Clara replied. , yes sir. I want this brown one. Is it a boy or a girl? The shop owner, Ernest pointed “A lady! Would you like to talk more at the counter?" Clara nodded, and so they walked to the counter as Clara set the brown rat down, she turned. “ What food do rat's eat? I'm sorry, I've never had one" She asked, saying the last section under her breath. “Oh, all sorts!" Ernest chuckled. “They eat both meat and vegetables so a diet of seeds, veg and a bit of ham should do the trick!" Clara replied ““Thank you, sir! Also much does the rat cost?" She asked. Ernest happily replied “ 4 galleons and 2 sickles!" Despite knowing she would be low on coins, she decided to buy it anyway. “ Here you go, sir!" She handed the coins to Ernest, and received the rat in return. Suddenly a older lady came out. “Would you like a sugar cookie, dear?" Clara nodded then starting waving as she left “ Thank you, and bye-bye!"
