Waking up early and giving all her attention to classes felt even more tiring than usual for Winona, and she was happy about finally having the opportunity to go to her dorm and rest for a while. Holding her books close to her chest, she was walking through the corridors without paying much attention to her surroundings.

A couple of upperclassmen, much taller than the tiny Slytherin, were also walking from the opposite direction when one of them bumped into Winona's shoulder. She hit the wall on her left side, but didn't give any reaction to indicate how much it hurt. The upperclassman said a quick "Sorry" and continued on his way, clueless about the inconvenience he had just caused.

The impact caused Winona's glasses to be knocked down from her face, falling to the ground. Looking down at the ground in panic, the unlucky girl's vision wasn't able to notice anything that resembled the shape of her glasses.

With the sad realization that she couldn't possibly find them by looking around, Winona got down on her knees and ran her hands around the floor. It felt so embarrassing and miserable to be in that position that she kept her face down, with the front pieces of her hair mostly covering her face, hoping no one she was acquaintanced with would see her like that.

The longer she was on her knees, the more panicked and stressed she was starting to feel, causing her hands to shake slightly and her cheeks to be flushed with a red hue.

End of classes, the moment that a certain Gryffindor student had been looking forward to. As much as she loved most of the classes that they have at Hogwarts, she can’t say that she doesn’t feel drained after every class. She too would like to relax once in a while… actually, she’d like to relax all the time, especially after classes but of course, can’t have everything. Homework is waving at her after classes, not really giving her that much time to relax. Oh well.

Raizel’s attention span wasn’t at its best. She’s pretty much distracted, walking down the corridors with a tired and sleepy look on her dark brown eyes. It won’t be a surprise if she finds herself going in circles through the corridors while looking for the Gryffindor’s Common Room. She once found herself doing just that, the only difference is that she ended up in the Entrance Hall instead of her destination. Her sense of direction… let’s say it’s not the best when it comes to Hogwarts, especially when she’s distracted.

A figure soon caught her sleepy vision, making her squint her eyes in the direction of someone on all fours, searching for whatever is on the floor. Wasn’t exactly what she was expecting but still, she decided to approach whoever it was on the floor. She’s bad at recognizing people, especially those who she only had a brief interaction with or those that she simply saw while passing by them. She was just about to call out, ask what’s wrong when a crunching noise reached her ears, feeling like she had stepped on something. That immediately woke her up, wincing as she looked down, finding a pair of glasses. “Fudge.”

This was definitely what this person was looking for and she just stepped on it. Great. She slowly picked it up. “I’m sorry, but is this what you’re looking for?” she asked, holding out the broken glasses to the person there on the floor, bending down to match her level. “I swear I can fix it.” It was a good thing that she already knows a couple of spells and she just knows the perfect one for broken glasses.

Hearing the sound of glass cracking was the last thing Winona wanted at the moment, and it made her let out an angry groan, followed by a pouting face. "Ughh! How can you be so careless?"

She was just about to lash out at the person standing in front of her, but decided to keep her manners and took a deep breath while reaching out to the blurry figure to take her glasses back. When she put them back on her face, she realized how they were in a completely unusable state and it made her face turn sour very quickly.

"If you can, please do. I can barely see anything." it was apparent in her voice how annoyed she was in this situation, it felt like her day couldn't get any worse. She put one hand on the wall to support herself while getting back up on her feet.

As soon as she stood up straight, her first instinct was to brush the dust off from her knees. It felt horribly disgusting to be crawling on the floor like that, especially for someone fussy like Winona.

Turning her gaze back at the Gryffindor once again through the broken glasses, Winona wasn't able to pick up on her facial features or expression at the moment but figured out she wasn't an acquaintance.

"I'm sorry, I really am." Raizel apologized. She does feel bad about stepping on the glasses and much more when she sees how upset the girl looks. Understand though. She just stepped on her glasses that she needed the most right now. That made the Gryffindor girl bite her lip. "Just hold still." She shook her head, drawing out her wand and pointed it at the glasses. Her eyes locked onto the target, shoving any unnecessary thoughts for now as she focuses on the task.

Spellcasting needs concentration. Getting distracted now might result in the spell backfiring or failing to cast it. "Oculus Reparo." She enunciated the incantation as clear as she could, giving the eyeglasses a gentle tap and letting the magic work in fixing up what she had broken. If she did this right, the glasses should be good as new with no damages and the girl should be able to use it once again with no trouble at all. She really hopes that it worked.

"How is it?" Raizel asked as she kept her wand in her pocket, moving closer to get the look and check the glasses herself, wanting to make sure that she did it right. "Tell me if it's not good, I can try again." She was prepared to draw her wand again just in case the results were unsatisfactory for the other girl. One thing that she doesn't like is being unable to fix what she just ruined and upsetting people. She took a couple of steps back, giving the other girl some space to check the glasses herself, waiting anxiously for her reply. Next time, she should definitely stop wandering around while distracted but then again, she was just on her way to her common room and it was an accident, she didn't know what the girl was looking for.

The magic happening right on the tip of her nose made her flinch slightly and close her eyes shut. When she opened them back, her eyes widened with surprise. The pout on her face quickly disappeared as an indicator of how well the spell had worked "That was brilliant, thank you." she did her best to hide it but felt quite jealous that this random Gryffindor girl could cast a spell she didn't know about.

Feeling the urge to be mean to make herself feel better, in a somewhat snarky tone, she continued to speak "I bet you never thought that spell would come in handy. Where did you even learn it, Charms for Klutzs 101?" now that her glasses were fixed, she didn't need any further help and this allowed Winona to return to her usual arrogant self.

She wanted to ask the kind girl's name just out of curiosity, but quickly gave up on that idea because she didn't want to look too eager on befriending anyone, let alone someone who had seen her in a miserable state.

Quickly arranging the books she was holding and fixing her hair, the unfriendly Slytherin was getting ready to leave the scene without showing any more gratitude for the kind act she very much needed.

"Wow. You're welcome." Raizel responded to her with a look of disbelief on her face, a slight annoyed tone present in her voice. Well, the girl has the right to be mean to her in every way for she stepped on her beloved and mostly needed glasses but heck, she fixed it and it was good as new and that was an accident too. "It's taught in History of Magic." She informed her. "And yes, I never expected to finally have a reason to use it but I'm still glad I learned it. Maybe learn about it later on yourself. I think you might find it very useful." The girl added.

She watched as this Slytherin girl started fixing up her hair and arranging her books and of course, she wasn't expecting for her to say more thank you or that she even appreciates someone to check up on her while crawling on the floor but seriously, what's wrong with people? You show kindness and this is what you get? "And... just like that huh? Oh well." Raizel uttered, shrugging. "Be careful not to slip or whatever led you to losing your glasses and crawling on the floor like that." She told her. "Jeez, are you guys allergic to kindness or something?" Raizel remarked, not even caring if this girl heard it or not and she won't bother stopping her. What's the point in stopping someone who wants to leave anyway. She should've just watched her find her own glasses huh, that would've been entertaining, especially when this is the outcome she gets.

After hearing the well deserved statements coming from the other girl, instead of going on her way, Winona turned her gaze back at her and rolled her hazel eyes, clearly annoyed.

"Oh, forgive me!" she said sarcastically "Thank you for saving me, my hero! I owe you my life." followed by a little frustrated groan "Ughh! Here's your praise, are you happy now?"

After this little interaction, it didn't seem like Winona still planned on returning to her dorm without causing any harm. She wanted to take all the anger she kept bottled up during the day out on the Gryffindor girl, who was simply kind enough to offer help for a moment but somehow managed to offend this short-tempered Slytherin with her existence. Of course, Winona wasn't mean enough to hurt the someone out of the blue like this, but she could attempt to hurt her ego with some malicious comments.

The angry Slytherin's frowning face might have been intimidating if she wasn't acting so childish, "What's your name, agent of chivalry? And what makes you think you're so important?" At moments like this, Winona wished she was taller, just so she could look down on people, in literal sense. There was no trace of the girl who was helpless on the floor just a minute ago left, it seemed. One could easily tell how spoiled she must've been growing up judging by her current behaviour.

Raizel simply looked at the girl before her, her eyes turning rather cold as she heard that sarcastic tone in her voice. "Wasn't asking for one." She replied with a colder tone, stepping closer to the other girl as this one seems to be looking for trouble and she's not exactly in the best mood either with her so tired and sleepy. What's another fight to start in the corridor right? Ah, lovely, the corridor once again. Seems like this place had become her source of trouble and from another Slytherin too. Will this one be as tolerable and entertaining as Lucian though, that she doesn't know. She'll see.

"I never saw myself as someone important if I were to be honest." She told her with a shrug, the tone in her voice never changing. "Perhaps you should ask that to yourself first though. Do you see yourself as too important to bother to be kind to someone who gave you a hand? You should definitely try it once in a while, being kind I mean, it's great, makes you less of a pain." Raizel told her with a smile although there wasn't any warmth in them. She is looking at the Slytherin student's hazel colored eyes with her own dark brown ones when she spoke, a glare present in them as she leaned forward. "Ah, of course, that would just hurt your pride, won't it? That'd be too much of a damage for you to be able to take." She replied with a grin on her face before backing off and turning around.

If this other girl would like for this argument to continue, Raizel, on the other hand, would rather not and enjoy her time somewhere else than waste it with someone that she can't have a proper conversation with. Those dueling practice dummies are looking so great right now. "Well, I'll see you when I see you. Try not to bother those that try to give you a hand next time you need one." The Gryffindor told her with a wave of her hand. "And the name's Raizel Voltrouz. Although, I don't think there's any point in saying that since I doubt you'll remember it but pretty much appreciated if you do."

This girl who had the audacity to turn away and yet still continue to get on Winona's nerves, Raizel as she called herself, who did she think she was to talk so big like that? Not to mention the way she exaggerated fixing her own mistake made it sound as if Winona was desperate for help. Needing help was something the arrogant Slytherin couldn't stand in the slightest, it made her clench her teeth and draw her wand out.

"You filthy, stupid, insolent mooncalf!" emphasizing each word one by one as she spoke, at this point, she sounded like she was having a hard time controlling her anger, which was proved by what she did next.

Stretching out her hand while holding her wand, with her tiny, slender fingers wrapped tightly around it, she decided on impulse that it would be a good idea to cast a spell that could potentially hurt the other girl. Not a single thought regarding consequences for this action crossed her mind, getting scolded or being sent to detention would be a first for Winona.

"I don't need help, especially from someone like you! But you will!"
Aiming her wand just a couple inches away from Raizel's feet, she casted a spell to hopefully cause a tiny explosion and make the other girl fall down "Jaculor!" she raised her voice a little to pronounce the enunciation clearly. Her goal was not to hurt the other student, seeing her down on the ground would be enough to feel even. Attacking her like this from behind wasn't the most honorable thing to do, but she had it coming for being so annoying.

Insults aren't exactly the best thing to be used against this Gryffindor girl. Through her own experiences, she had learned to ignore them, proved by the way she just walked off when this girl shouted some sort of insult at her. What did she say again? She didn't quite get it, too distracted by the idea of just spending the time in the common rooms or in the dueling club for some good spellcasting practice. What came next was completely unexpected.

If there's anything that will catch this girl's immediate attention, it'll be the sound of someone casting a spell no matter how unfamiliar it might sound to her. She turned her head, just in time to see the other girl casting, her wand drawn and before she knew it, she heard something explode just near her feet, making her jump and almost fall down. For some reason, she could see herself in this girl before her, reminding her how she got into a fight with Lucian. The Slytherin girl looked so annoyed right now, almost making her laugh.

It's not that she wanted to make her angry and is finding it amusing, she's just reminded of a similar scene, how it escalated into involving spell casting. All Raizel did was speak up her mind. "Nice spell." She told her as she regained her composure and that attack sure caught her by surprise. Wasn't expecting an attack coming from behind. "I was already leaving though, what more do you want?" She asked the girl, crossing her arms in front of her. "And don't worry, I won't bother you anymore, sounds too troublesome." Oh the urge to shoot a spell back was so strong in this one. A Flipendo should do the trick, perhaps she could just freeze her in place and leave even but she didn't, not yet anyway. Hope she is ready for the consequences of drawing a wand and shooting a spell.
