A Fury Friend
As Cassie is walking in the alleys of Diagon Alley, her mother suddenly realizes that she hasn't got a pet yet. Yes, she has got her books, her wand, her cauldrons, her uniforms, but not a pet!
They quickly walk to the Magical Menagerie-- the shop which sells all kinds of pets. When Cassie walks inside the shop, she is shocked by all kinds of pets. Owls are locked in cages near the entrance of the shop. There are barn owls, snowy owls, all kind of owls. 'Mom! I want an owl! It can send letters for me!' Cassie says to her mother. ’Alright Cassie, it's up to you. This will be your pet. You should see more pets before you choose right, dear? So move on.‘
Cassie walks to an area of toads and spiders. 'Ahh!' she yells. She is afraid of toads and spiders. Evil animals, she thinks. 'Mom! Why would someone want a spider or a toad as a pet? They are ugly and disgusting!' 'Cassie, you need to think in the position of others, People have different hobbies and likes. They might just like these animals, you will need to accept that. By the way, a toad can make its way to the school choir.'
Finally, they arrives at the section of pygmy puffs. There are purple ad pink pygmy puffs. 'Aww...' Cassie yells, 'they're so cute! Mom, I don't want an owl now, I want a pygmy puff. But... how can I send letters without an owl?' 'Cassie, don't mind that, you can use school owls, they are just as useful. Tell me dear, which kind do you want? A purple one or a pink one?' 'Umm...' Cassie answers, 'perhaps purple. I heard that purple represents wisdom, I will have a purple one!'
And so, they takes a purple pygmy puff, and places it carefully on Cassie's shoulder. They walks to the shop owner and asks to buy it. And there they are, standing outside the shop. Cassie is smiling warmly, with her female purple pygmy puff laying on her right shoulder.
'Dear,' her mother says, 'what do you want to name your purple pygmy puff?' 'What do you think, mom?' asks Cassie, 'Wisdom or puffy? Which is better?' 'It's up to you, dear.' Cassie thinks and thinks. 'Wisdom!' she says finally. 'I hope she will be with me and always wish me good luck in my academics!' And they leaves, heading to buy more school supplies.
