What a nice, lazy Sunday! Sure it might be merely a morning, they still had more than twelve hours heading into Monday, but how wonderful was Maverick's feeling when he woke up! He may have been a little sleepy and a part of him would like to pull the blanket to resume the sleep, but it was defeated by the thought that it was Sunday and he could do anything he wanted for the whole day.
It was not uncommon for Maverick (in fact, it usually happened to him) to wake up in the morning feeling all energised on Saturday, Sunday, or any other day where he could do whatever he cared; but on days when he had class or other duties, he would wake up tired despite the same eight-hour sleep he had the nights before his free days. Seriously, doctors may have to start diagnosing him with "only having energy for predictably fun days" illness; otherwise, people around him would think the part-Veela was simply lazy.
While enjoying his breakfast of fresh chocolate milk and corn flakes with strawberry chunks, Maverick tried to think what he would like to do for the rest of the day. The weather was good, so he may want to do something outside. Besides, there was no any race to enjoy on the television; not that Hogwarts had a TV set anyway.

═══════*.·:·.☽✧ 201 ✧☾.·:·.*═══════It was a normal morning for the young Hufflepuff, he was sleepy but that would normally change with a good breakfast. He walked into the all to similar great hall and took a seat at the Hufflepuff table. He still had yet to figure out why the hat had placed him here. His sister, an older Ravenclaw had told him that it would all come together with time. He hoped that this would come sooner then later.
Andre looked over the table at the egg's and toast. Trying to decide on what would fill him. Hogwarts always had a nice variety of foods. Something he had admired. On days when he was in a rush or wanted to spend some time outside he would just grab a muffin or bagel. Today he had time to spend at the table. So he didn't need and grab and go food. So he had stacked his plate with some waffles, toped with maple syrup and fruits such as strawberries and blueberries.
He liked these days, ones were he could sit and talk with his housemates. It was lovely, the chatter of students and the scraping of forks on plates. Oddly comfiting in a way,═══════*.·:·.☽✧ ✦ ✧☾.·:·.*═══════

It seemed that not so many people were around. Perhaps they were still in bed, comfortably wrapped in blankets and rightfully so. After all, it was Sunday morning and spring had not technically come, so curling under a blanket had the right to be majority's popular pastime for the moment.
Maverick secretly, or not very secretly, looked around. There were a couple of students here and there, but none that he knew. Nor were they good-looking enough to attract his attention, to motivate him to strike a conversation with them.
The Gryffindor noticed an elder girl scolding a boy who looked younger than she was, and he assumed the boy was her younger brother. The brother, understandably, did not look happy; in contrary, he seemed to be rolling his grey eyes, as if saying, "Here we go again." On the Hufflepuff table, a curly-haired boy was enjoying his breakfast of eggs and toasts, wearing a white shirt and a tie the colours of the Hufflepuff house -
One moment.
A yellow and black tie? A tie in the colours of the house of Hufflepuff? What was that kid thinking, putting on such attire on a Sunday? Surely there was no class today...
The tween's tie got Maverick intrigued, but he said nothing. On the other hand, he stared back at his corn flakes, not wanting anyone to catch him staring at a person like an impolite child. He supposed some other people had the gall to come up to strangers and ask something like, "Um... pardon me, but why are you wearing that tie?" - but he was not such kind of person! He knew better than to stuck his nose up a stranger's choice of clothing.
