Daniel was born in england, raised by a cold mother and a absent father, His Mother was called Angela Hellsing, a cold and serious woman, and a even more strict mother, she was born in Brazil, and moved to england with her sister to improve her career as a artifact collector. There she met a muggle man called Gabriel Lez, they fell in love, for Gabriel understood the passion Angela felt for collecting things (tho he didnt know the things she collected were magical). And they went well for a while, until Angela had a baby with him, Gabriel did "accept" the baby, until the things started to get a bit worse, Gabriel needed to sustein their baby, as well as Angela which was running low on money, and then when he couldnt take problems no longer, he decided just to leave one night and never come back. Angela felt bitter.. Even with this betrayal of Gabriel she managed to get a job at the leaky caldron for a while, After all she needed to sustain herself and her baby now.
It was a cold and snowy night the moment Angela got birth of Daniel, she took some days to understand she had become a mother.. But she took good care of her son, even with her cold ways, she was always strict and serious, but loved her child and wanted the best for them, and even being a single mother, Angela managed to keep her dreams of becoming a famous artifact collector, and she actually managed to do it, she felt such a great connection to her work, it was her purpose on life, specially after "Gabriel's incident" as she calls it. But tho she loved what she did, she got pretty greedy, collecting those magical artifacts really messed with her brain, maybe it was the magical abilities which came with it, but she stopped caring about her child as she used before.. and with her growing greediness, she decided to go after a VERY very dangerous artifact, she claimed it could make them "have a better life".. but it was quite the opposite. She died in accident with that dangerous artifact, a giant explosion took down the place it was guarded.
She died when Daniel was still 6 years old, and he dont really remember what happened with her, and the last thing he remembers was his mom leaving him with his autie so she could "finish some work things" as she promised to come back.. but she never did. After her death, Daniel went live with his auntie (Her name is Linda Solage). Which after being told her sister died from a "car explosion" (As his Auntie was a muggle, the ministry needed to.. cover things up) Linda decided to take care of Daniel as her own son. Linda was a single mom of 4, and now 5 with Daniel, she wasnt that rich but she gave a nice life to her children, she knew it was gonna be hard taking care of 5 children of her own, and especially a child traumatized by the mother's abandonment who would need more mental care.
Daniel had a lot of trouble accepting his new family, but he ended up getting into it, he had some siblings problems but nothing more then brothers rivalry. And a few magical things happened, and Linda knew it was something different with Daniel, and when he recieved his Hogwarts Letter.. she understood everything and decided to embrace it, she encouraged him to go to Hogwarts (he didnt wanted to go but after a few talks with his mama he decided to go). And Daniel always recieve letters from his family always asking him about how things as been.
