Ara woke up in her dorm on Saturday, 6th of May 2023. As her eyes tried to close again, she remembered that it was Catherine's 17th birthday. She quickly got up and ready and almost went to the Great Hall without her present. Oops.
She grabbed her present and ran to the Great Hall where she saw Edmund at the Ravenclaw Table talking to Catherine. As Ara approached her siblings "Ohayō Good Morning Ara! What's with the outfit?" her brother, Edmund greeted with an insult. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" Ara said in return to his insult. As they started to bicker, their sister, Catherine aka the birthday girl looked back and forth between their faces in confusion until "Stop it you two!" she said quite loudly. After that, Ara and Edmund stopped and just side-eyed each other (OOC: bOmBaStIc SiDe EyE, CrImInAl OfFeNsIvE sIdE eYe) "It's my birthday guys, don't fight" Ara and Edmund just groaned in response. After Ara greeted her sister, the owls and mail came. The siblings saw their family owl (Kaito) and their older brother, Peter's owl (Jiro) come in, and both drop packages for Catherine. Cath opened the one from their parents first.
She carefully unwrapped the gift and she got a beautiful blue traditional kimono and a note.

Happy 17th birthday! We hope you like your kimono (your mother picked it out). You are old enough to know better but still young enough to get away with it! 17 years might not seem like that much, but when you think that’s over 200 months, it suddenly appears to be much more significant! I hope the hundreds of months and thousands of weeks ahead of you are just as great.

After Catherine read the note she smiled and to her, it just sunk in that it was her last year of childhood. Ara saw her sister's face turn into a frown after smiling so brightly. "Cath?" Ara said. Edmund noticed as well, "Oh nothing ... It's just that I just realized that this is the last year of my childhood." the elder sister explained. "Oh please Cath! You have all your life to act like a child! Don't let adulthood stop that" Edmund said. "That is the most motivation you've given to someone ever" Ara sarcastically said instantly turning Ed's bright smile into an eye roll and glare. "Open Peter's gift now, Cath!" The 13-year-old boy said to change the topic. Catherine nodded in agreement as she got Peter's gift in front of her.
Opening it, she got a beautiful rose gold, 5-picture locket. with the pictures being hers, Peter, Edmund, Hallie, and Ara, the 5 siblings.

Catherine started to tear up a bit and the other 2 comforted her saying that she didn't even open their gifts yet. After the 17-year-old stopped tearing up, she moved on to Edmund's gift.
"Wow Ed, I didn't know you were good at wrapping gifts!" she complimented. Edmund laughed "I know right?" he said proudly while he flipped his nonexistent locks. The 2 sisters just rolled their eyes at his action. Catherine opened her brother's gift and it was...a Music Box!

Ara's mouth dropped as Catherine gasped "Oh my goodness! I've always wanted one of these! It's so pretty! Thank you!" Edmund posed and laughed proudly OOC: he's doing the Monoma pose as he heard his older sister thank him and his younger one's face in shock. "Try to top that Imōto!" sister/younger sister the 13-year-old said mockingly as he grabs Ara's gift from her hands and gives it to Catherine. "HEY-!" Ara said in reply to her older brother taking her gift.

Catherine giggled at the 2 bickering but stopped Ara from doing a roundhouse kick at Edmund. After the 2 younger ones calmed down, the birthday girl held her sister's gift. "It's cute!"Catherine said

It was filled with crochet scarves, beanies, and animals! When Catherine took each of the crochet pieces out..there was a piece on the very bottom folded nicely. It was a cardigan!
Catherine started to tear up seeing this. Ara was shocked since she didn't think she would like it but she was happy that she did. "Thank you! It looks so cool and cute!" Catherine thanked while wiping away her tears. "HOW IN THE BLOODY HELL DID YOU MAKE THAT?" Edmund asked...rather loudly. "Time and practice, Ed. Time and practice" Ara replied with a teasing smile. Edmund rolled his eyes at her and looked at his other sister. "Hey, Cath! How about you try that jacket out?"
Ara nodded in agreement as Catherine said "Sure! By the way it's a cardigan". and put on the cardigan. "It looks perfect on you!" Ara said and Edmund gave a double thumbs up. Catherine smiled and asked "But for real Ara, how?" Ara looked at her with a smirk "Like I said: Time and practice." A few seconds later Catherine got it "Ohh ok"
