Too tired for anything
The library was one of the best rooms in Hogwarts according to Hannah. Even though, she had a library at her own house, this one seemed to have infinite books. It was hard to pick just one.
She also came here to study. The girl knew there was a study room, but here it was quieter and nicer. She also enjoyed the smell of books, but who doesn't?
This time she came here to read. Hannah loved to read, especially at the end of the day. And since it was Saturday, it was even better. There was something about Saturdays that made Hannah love them.
She had pulled out a book that she had ready just a few times called "Quidditch Through The Ages". It was in her house's library and she liked it. But, she never knew that she'd love Quidditch so much that she would become part of the Quidditch team.
This time, she was reading the book for the first time as a chaser. Hannah admired the lovely green cover of the book. It had been borrowed many times, and she knew that it was a very popular book.
The girl opened the cover and began to read. She was sitting down laying her head on a shelve, she was comfortable this way. Her legs were stretched out and she could observe her shoes, which were a black pair of sneakers. She liked these shoes.
As she turned the pages it got more and more interesting, until she was too tired to continue, so she closed her eyes for a few seconds, then she opened them again. She couldn't sleep, not in here anyway, but she also was too tired to read.

The library was one of my favorite places so far. On a usual day it was quiet and lovely. On a Saturday evening it was even better. I walked through the shelves and shelves of books looking for a book that would catch my eye.
I was surprised to see a girl sitting down with her head on one of the shelves. The book “Quidditch Through The Ages” was face down next to her. It seemed like it was really popular as the green cover of the book was worn. I wasn’t the most outgoing person so I usually didn’t talk with that many people. But the fact that this girl was at the library on a Saturday night was enough to pique my interest. Maybe there is someone like me who loves to read and comes to the library on Saturday nights. Plus, I need to make some friends anyway.
“Hi!” I exclaimed, “My name is Reyna, Reyna Evergreen. What’s your name? The book you're reading seems cool! Do you like to read too? I do! What’s your favorite book?”
Shoot, I’m rambling! Ugghhh, I messed this up already. This is why you don’t talk to people, Reyna, you always mess it up. Okay, you can fix this.
“I’m rambling aren’t I? Sorry, it's just that, you don't see that many people around here in the library on a Saturday evening.” I said.
There. Better. I did it! I grinned. Now it was up to her to say something or to ignore me. I hoped I hadn’t made a mistake.

The book now layed on her lap.
A girl with brown hair and hazel eyes came up to her. And started talking.
”Oh, hello!” “My name is Hannah, Hannah Blossom” “Yeah, I love to read! I don’t have a favorite book, but this one is a good one.” she smiled. Hannah thought of the best answers she could say.
She was talking a big fast, yes, but Hannah catches up easily. “No, it’s fine. I also talk a lot, it’s just today I’m a bit tired.” “And yeah, it’s always quiet on Saturdays. But.. it’s nice seeing you here” she smiled, hoping she hadn’t made a bad first impression.
This girl could be a potential friend. Hannah stood up, since Reyna was also standing. “So, what’s your favorite book?” “I’ve been needing some recommendations.” she added.
The girl— Reyna was a big shorter than Hannah. Her hair was pretty, and she seemed nice. In hopes to continue the conversation, Hannah waited for a response, whilst tapping her fingers on the cover of the book, she soon realized that this could be something rude, so she stopped, smiling instead.
”Do you always come here on Saturdays? I haven’t seen you here before.” the girl asked. She thought that Reyna would become a friend of Hannah, since she liked to read. She also seemed kind, and she was talking a lot. Hannah liked this behavior, since she was a crackhead when she got to know someone.

Linda was always spending a lot in the library. It could be reading, drawing, just sitting. This day she decided to read something more about dragons so she went through shelves searching for what she needed. Here it is. Dragons. Perhaps she would find it interesting and with full information.Thoughts in red, speech in violet
She went to search where to sit and noticed two girls. It's not often when there would be someone here in this day and time. Perhaps she needed to go to common room directly instead of staying here, but she didn't. Lately she had really busy days, so this time was one of the rarest times when she didn't think to make friends. But talking to them won't hurt though maybe she will be less active, but that should be fine. So she decided to talk to these girls.
"Hi there. I didn't expect I would see someone here at this time. What are you reading?" One of these girls were Hannah. Linda saw in the common room sometimes and with their mutual friend. Also she was a part of a Quidditch team, a chaser. Another girl was someone she didn't meet before or didn't focus.
Well, although Linda didn't have intention to have something more than just a talk, but maybe they would be friends. She didn't want to add anything else before these girls would answer and probably ask something so she just stood holding book in her hand.

I smiled as the girl talked. She introduced herself as Hannah Blossom. She told me she didn’t have a favorite book. She also said that the book “Quidditch through the Ages” was a good one. I would have to read that book sometime.
I was very glad that she hadn't thought my rambling was weird. Maybe someone who finally understands me. Finally she said, “So, what’s your favorite book? I’ve been needing some recommendations.” I thought for a few seconds and then I remembered. My mother had given me the book on my 9th birthday the year after my first instance of magic.
“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” I replied, “But I also like muggle books. Have you read any? My favorites are Keeper of the Lost Cities and Percy Jackson.”
Just then another girl passed by us and stopped. She came and joined us. "Hi there. I didn't expect I would see someone here at this time. What are you reading?" she said. Another person in the library on a Saturday night? Wow, maybe I could make two new friends in one day! I assumed she was talking to Hannah about the book because she was the one who had a book on her lap. The new girl who had just joined us also held a book in her hand. It was about dragons. That seems interesting. I should ask her what her name is and about the book. I decided to wait for Hannah to answer the question so I just waved.

She heard the girl's recommendations with interest. Hannah had read "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", but she lied and said "Oh cool! I'll have to check them out.", well she technically didn't lie, because she forgot that she had read it for a few seconds.
"I've read some muggle books, but not these ones. I like Agatha Christie books, she's a very good muggle writer." she paused "Have you read any of her books?" at this time, it was getting late, and Hannah couldn't show any emotions, but she was still there.
Suddenly, a girl with light brown hair came up to them. She didn't recognize her for a second, but then remembered that she was Linda. They were mutual friends, and met in the common room sometimes. Linda was a very friendly person. And she was kind, at least in Hannah's opinion.
Linda had asked them what they were reading, and it was a simple question, so Hannah answered her question quickly. "Hey Linda! This is Reyna, and to answer your question I'm reading "Quidditch Through the Ages". What about you?" she asked, knowing it was something about dragons. Hannah had taken an interest for dragons, since they were gigantic, well, most of them. But, they all shared one thing in common, they were different, and that's what made them interesting.
Hannah was enjoying this conversation, and even though it was getting, late, she was starting to loose some of her tiredness.

Another girl just waved to Linda without saying anything. Well, maybe she thought I was talking only to Hannah. Hannah was a nice person. Though they didn't talk that much till now, but Linda was sure about it. "Oh, that's great. I guess almost everyone read it here. Did you read it too, Reyna? And as for me, I think you already guessed it's about dragons. Though today I took about baby Norwegian Ridgeback." Linda liked to talk to Hannah. She felt comfortable and maybe better in her mood. And about Reyna she didn't know anything. This was a bit not interesting. Any other time she would ask Reyna a lot of questions to know more about her, but now Linda was just trying to not leave her out of talking. Now she didn't think that she had to be not here. She didn't mind it anymore. Linda was thinking about what she wants to read else. Perhaps she could read something from muggle. She never read any from them, so she didn't know if it's worthy. "I don't think I saw you here before though. But I'm usually not staying here in Saturday, so maybe I just didn't notice." Linda smiled talking to both girls. It was interesting that although she comes here every day, she still never saw Hannah or Reyna here before. "How was your day?" Linda didn't know what to say as she was tired, but she somehow wanted the conversation to keep going. Hopefully it was not bad idea to ask about day. |

Hannah replied to my question first and said, "I've read some muggle books, but not these ones. I like Agatha Christie books, she's a very good muggle writer. Have you read any of her books?"
I grinned at that statement. I had. My mom had introduced them to me when I was in the mystery book phase. Agatha Christie had been one of my favorite authors during that time along with Nancy Drew and many others.
Then she replied to the new girl's question, "Hey Linda! This is Reyna, and to answer your question I'm reading "Quidditch Through the Ages". What about you?"

There was a pause of silence. "I don't think I saw you here before though. But I'm usually not staying here on Saturday, so maybe I just didn't notice." Linda said. It seemed as if everyone was tired but everyone kept on talking.
Then Linda asked another question, “How was your day?”
I decided to answer Hannah’s question from before and replied saying, “I love Agatha Christie books! Her mystery books are cool!”
I also decided to include Linda in this conversation as well. “Have you read any muggle books Linda? If so, what are your favorites?”
Then I answered Linda’s question. “Probably… But I don’t exactly remember reading it so I’ll have to read it again sometime. And as for my day… It’s been relaxing and busy. There’s a lot to do here and a lot to learn! How about you guys?”
Pleased with my improving social skills, I waited for Linda and Hannah to answer the questions.
I stifled a yawn. I knew it was getting late but talking about books and making new friends was fun. I didn't want to take any time away from that. I smiled. Who would have thought that I would be up late talking to people? Definitely not me…

After, Hannah said that she liked the writer, Agatha Christie, Reyna grinned. At this point it was obvious she liked her books. And had read them at least one of them.
Linda was reading something about dragons, and as soon as she finished talking, Hannah said "Oh nice! I'm not very familiar with dragons, but they are pretty interesting." she said that she had never noticed Hannah here. In her words she said: "I don't think I saw you here before though. But I'm usually not staying here in Saturday, so maybe I just didn't notice." "Cool, Saturday is the day I usually come to the library, since it's quiet." "Well, every day is quiet, but I return the books I borrow on Saturday and yeah." she smiled. One of the reasons she never saw the two in the library was probably because of the size of the place. It was huge.
Anyway, Linda had asked the girls about their day. Reyna was first to answer. Hannah's day was fine. She spent most of it in the dormitory, or exploring Hogwarts, since it was a huge school. When Reyna finished talking, it was Hannah's turn to speak. "Well, it was great. I mean, I spent most of it exploring the school, and I also went outside. I like the feeling of the outdoors. What about you?" she asked Linda.
Then, she looked around, the library was quiet. Dead quiet. What time was it again? Curfew was at 10 PM. It didn't seem like it was that time, so Hannah continued talking.

"I don't think I read any muggle books but you could suggest something and maybe I could search for it. But maybe I read one. My day was busy but it wasn't bad. I was outside the castle today a lot." Linda smiled answering to Reyna. She was using only so little from muggle world, so she didn't know about it that much. But about magical world she knew a lot.
Linda's brother was working with dragons and sometimes took her with him. Maybe that's why she was so curious to know about them more. She didn't know the exact reason for it.
"Oh that's really cool. I come here often, especially in bad weather. Linda was thinking. Maybe they could go to the library together?
It was getting late but surprisingly she wanted to talk to these two girls more. Books, muggle books. She started to wonder what muggle books were here? Maybe she read one. She couldn't remember the book she read from Mell's advice, so right now she wasn't that sure.
She started to wonder what her friends we're doing at such time. Coming back from her thoughts she looked at girls. Surely all of them were tired but still all of them were wishing to continue their talking.
