Nearly everyone knows Cassie has a dream of having all Os in every single subject's every single homework. But few knows that her final goal is to have all full scores. She is working hard to meet her goal. Up to yesterday, her goal is still well achieved. Everything changed today.
This afternoon, she receives her Transfiguration homework. She is shocked. Her homework is not only not full score, but also nearly to an E. How on Earth did she did so bad in her homework! After class, she is still sad, heart broken as well. She rushes to the library to force herself to read more Transfiguration. She decides to keep this failure a secret in her heart, for no one else can understand her feelings. She tells herself that she will never ever perform bad in Transfiguration again. Never!
After finding a book of Transfiguration, she lays out her homework. One by one, she reads carefully the instructions and starts to analyze why she has gotten it wrong. Most of them, it turns out that, seems to be because of her carelessness. If only she has been more careful. She regrets. But she knows clearly that that score will be there, no matter how she regrets.
Tears rushes out, tears of regret.

As someone who likes to wing most of her studies, aside from a couple of subjects, Raizel rarely finds herself wandering into the library. It’s rare to see her studying for any exam but she does so in secret, especially her Charms, DADA and sometimes, even Potions. Her grades are okayish, actually, more than okayish for her anyway. There are those who strive to be on top though, getting all those sweet Os, making their report cards look pretty. Understandable really but that obsession somehow makes people scary. The first year Gryffindor made her way to one of her favorite places in the library. Yes, while she doesn’t hang out too often here, there is a place that she likes to go when she finds herself here and that’s the part where some books of Charms for higher year levels are in.
If there’s anything that she will read all day, that’ll be the Charms book. She had already learned a couple of spells and it does amaze her how easy it was for her to get used to the spells. Then again, even with fancy spells, in a duel, she can’t seem to utilize them that much, something that she’s been wondering about for a while now. Her train of thought was stopped as soon as she spotted a girl. A fellow first year from what she could remember. While she is only close to a couple of her fellow first years, she does recognize them but their names somehow slips off of her mind. What can you expect from someone who rarely interacts with others aside from a couple of close friends.
She doesn’t know what came over her though. She would’ve ignored her for she seems to be going through something at the moment and just went straight to get that book of charms and see if there’s any new spells she could learn but she found herself walking towards the girl, perhaps curious on what’s up. Hopefully, she doesn’t regret this. “Yo.” she called out, being friendly and not being too loud as they are still in the library. “You okay?”
