Fancy Bumping into You Here
With the school year coming to an end, it seemed like Ellory's life had solely been about studying and exams. Her and Emlyn had been making a habit of studying in the Gryffindor Common Room after what had happened the last time they went to the study room. However much she loved her sister, she hated it when she caused a ruckus. All she wanted was to be friends with everyone, but Emlyn made it so difficult.
Eager to get a break after her Charms exam, Ellory planned on doing a couple of laps around the lake. It had been a while before she had ran, and she was definitely starting to feel the effects of it. Running was a great way for her to relieve stress, which was very much needed at this time of year.
After she’d finished stretching her hamstrings, she was off. She started to jog from the edge of the entrance gates towards the lake. A lot of people really disliked running, but Ellory had always found a certain peace to it. The wind on her face, the feeling of solid ground beneath her feet - you couldn’t beat it. The only thing about running at Hogwarts is people sometimes looked at her strange, which she absolutely hated. A lot of people still had trouble telling her and her sister apart, so hopefully they thought she was Emlyn.
To be honest, most people assumed she was Emlyn anyways. She was the louder of the two twins, and the one that people seemed to focus on more. She had also been told many times that the name ‘Emlyn’ had more of a ring to it and was easier to remember than ‘Ellory’. Ellory didn’t really mind, because as far as she was concerned, the less people that were paying attention to her, the better. She was a ‘fly under the radar’ type of person.
As she rounded towards the lake, Ellory saw a girl standing at the edge. When she looked closer, she realized that it was the girl from the study room the other day that she had since learned was named Aurelia. Part of her wanted nothing more than to turn around immediately and avoid all contact, but she knew that this was the easy way out. She felt incredibly guilty for her Emlyn had reacted to her that day, but she had been too nervous to say anything about it at the time.
After pondering for a few more moments, it was clear to Ellory that the right thing to do would be to apologize. She had been feeling pretty guilty, and she knew that this was the only way to alleviate some of that. She started to run in Aurelia’s direction. Once she was approaching her, she slowed to a brisk walk. When she was only a few feet away, she didn’t see that there was a rock sticking out of the ground, causing her trip over it and fall right into Aurelia. “Watch out!” she yelled, but it was too late. She had crashed right into her.

Aurelia felt the breeze on her face again. It was warmer than the last time she had been to the lake when it was nearing Spring. Aurelia had been to the lake quite a few times over the school year and some of the visits weren't very pleasant. She had once almost drowned in its water, but that was another story for another time.
It was nearing the end of the school year. She had done decently for her academics, she wasn't a very bright student but managed to make her average a passing grade. She was fine with the letter 'A' on her report book but she wasn't sure if her parents were. They most likely would be, they never really cared much about her academics.
This visit to the lake was quite different. She had brought her ballet shoes with her. Aurelia looked around, there weren't anyone around. The girl quite missed home and dance reminded her of it. She had been dancing ever since she learnt how to walk, it was a skill passed from mother to child down the Schütte line, her mother's heritage.
Just as she was about bend down to put on the delicate shoes, she heard someone yell behind her.
"Wow, Emyln. So you see someone you don't like and you decide to push her into the lake? You'll pay for that!" She screamed at her with anger bubbling in her. She saw towards shore. She was soaking wet as she stormed up the small cliff. The girl was going to get it.

What is it now?Before Aurelia could even react, she felt a hard shove in the back and the momentum sent her propelling towards direction of the lake. A split second later, she was splashed into its cold waters. She paddled with her arms in the water keeping her head above water level. She rubbed her eyes and looked up only to see the girl she hated the most standing on the small cliff she was on a moment ago. Emlyn, that b****.“Watch out!”
"Wow, Emyln. So you see someone you don't like and you decide to push her into the lake? You'll pay for that!" She screamed at her with anger bubbling in her. She saw towards shore. She was soaking wet as she stormed up the small cliff. The girl was going to get it.

The scene that had unfurled in front of her was like watching a horror film. Ellory stood in shock for a moment, stunned at what had just happened. She would never mean any harm to anyone, regardless of whether or not they hated her and her sister, but she definitely realized how it must look, ‘accidentally’ tripping into someone she’d had a run in with and causing her to fall into the lake.
”Oh my god, I am SO sorry!” she cried, reaching a hand out to the girl awkwardly. It seemed it wasn’t needed, though, since she was able to get out of the water on her own.
Ellory felt a sense of guilt so strong that she really wasn’t sure what to do with it. She immediately went into panic mode, trying to think of some way she could diffuse the situation. ”Erm, no, I’m Ellory, not Emlyn,” she clarified with a shaky voice. ”I didn’t mean to push you in, I promise!” she pleaded. ”I would never do something like that, honest!” She was desperate.
Aurelia was soaking wet, which Ellory was sure was not at all comfortable. She felt absolutely horrible. What had she done? ”Erm, do you want me to see if I can find you a towel?” she looked around hopelessly, unsure of where she might find such a thing on the Hogwarts grounds. Maybe there would be one somewhere in the greenhouses? She doubted it. She’d probably have to rush back to the castle. Honestly, running back inside didn’t sound like a bad idea at the moment. She wished she could just disappear.

She was soaking from head to two and her dripping hair left a thin trail of water as she stormed up to the girl. She was furious, first she had insulted her in the study room and now she wanted to flip her day upside down? Her blood was pumped with anger as she wiped the water away from her eyes with her once dried sleeve which was now as wet.
Then the girl claimed that she was Ellory instead of Emlyn. It was impossible to tell the twins apart, they had too similar features. Aurelia didn't believe her, she was probably just Emlyn who wanted and excuse to escape her death glare. Ellory... or Emlyn, also stated that it had been an accident that she had been pushed into the water. Aurelia convinced herself that it was another one of her lies. How could someone of all places be standing right behind her when she fell into the water?
"Yeah right, an accident," Aurelia said, her eyes narrowing at the girl skeptically. She wanted to know the truth.
Then the girl offered to get her a towel. She was definitely Ellory. Emyln would never been so nice to her. Aurelia shook her head. She had been hit on the head with a golf ball once by accident, she was just at the wrong place at the wrong time and this probably was an identical situation. However, Aurelia needed to ask the necessary questions before she could be fully convinced.
"No, its fine. So why were you behind me in the first place?"She asked sharply.
