in February of twenty twenty, André was in his fathers home of Russia. Spending time with that side of his family. At this time the boy Was nine, four years after he found out about him being a wizard. He would not be attending Durmstrang like his father, or his uncles. Nor like his cousins. He would begin hogwarts in a couple of years, much to his grandfather's disappointment. Vlad couldn't be mad forever though, he would still be able to see and talk to his grandkids.

On this visit, Vlad had a surprise for André. A family earlom, A necklace that he would treasure forever. And were everyday, unless he absolutely could not. A necklace that he would pass on to his grandkids.

André was sitting in the living room of the pure blood home, playing with some toys with his cousin Anya. When he heard his name called out by Vlad Lebedev. "André could you come over here for a moment? I have a gift for you." the old man smiled with the same brown eyes as his children. André nodded eagerly, his grandfather gave the best gifts. The ones that were meaningful, as well as fun. "I will be back soon" He told Anya, as a young girl she didn't mind much, just nodded and smiled.

The younger boy followed the man into his study, a rather large room with bookcases to the ceiling. And papers scattered across the desk, most of which were letters that Vlad was writing to his friends from school. There were quite a few seating options in the study, a couch that was used mostly to read, a wooden chair in the corner and the chair behind the desk, the one André chose to sit at. Vlad waved his wand pulling the wood chair to be next to André, so they could face each other.

"André, I know you love my gifts. this one is very special." With André's full attention. Vlad waved his wand again and a book came off the shelves into his careful grasp. This book had plenty about different sorts of birds from the Kiwi, to an Ostrich. André watched as he flipped to a page with a white bird in the corner. Vlad turned to show the spread of knowledge to André, "Is that a dove?" He asked looking up, Vlad nodded. "Yes it is, do you know what they represent?" He didn't know.

He smiled and untucked a necklace from his shirt, using his other hand to push the book into André's lap. "Doves they represent peace, love, and innocence. You my grandson remind me of your father when he was young. Innocent. Like a dove." At this point he was very confused. Why was he being told this?. Vlad saw this but ignored it for now, and instead took off the necklace and put it on André, the charm on it was a dove. Holding something in its beak.

"My mother gave me that, and now im giving it to you. She told me 'whenever you look at this remember to be peaceful, innocent and loving to everyone you meet' Now I didnt alway follow this and dont think that I expect you to.." He paused to let it sink in to the young wizards brain, before he tried to continue. "Thank you grandpa" André moved the book to the messy desk, and gave his grandfather a hug. He knew how much this necklace meant to him, and would treasure it forever.
