Backstory: This fluffy truly American girl has recently moved to London, England with her family due to her father's job and that's where she received her letter of welcome from Hogwarts. She had moved from Michigan in the United States just weeks before her 11th birthday.
Her first use of magic was thought to be accident or something. She was bullied (of course) for wearing a Disney outfit that she loved. She got so angry and fed up with the bullying behavior the kid's lunch that he was carrying not only dumped over his lap but the hard plastic tray hit his nose so hard it bled!
Her muggle family was surprised and thought the note and list was a silly prank. Kai somehow knew it couldn't be so she went looking for answers and the needed supplies. Wand, cauldron and even a pointy hat was needed.
This was the escape from the mundane world she needed. To be different then her five siblings and plain parents. Of course, she knew she was different just didn't know how much.
Unicorns, dragons EVEN MAGIC! All could be real! She was not going to let this possibility slip through her fingers.
She could leave her mundane boring life behind and enter somewhere mystical and magical. Maybe she could figure out a reason behind the feeling wings on her back and a tail that should be flicking behinds her.
The opportunity also caused her to wonder what else is real out there that all mundane unmagical people were made believe is fiction. God? Angels? Demons? Zombies? The questions were never ending!
