Anna fidgeted nervously with the handle of her trunk, glancing around the train station at the muggles hurrying back and forth to get to their trains. She looked at the solid wall between platforms 9 and 10 and sighed. This was it. She just has to walk through that wall and she’ll be off to her first year at hogwarts… but what if it doesn’t work? What if she runs straight into the wall and embarrasses herself on her very first day. Her mother and father are talking behind her. Suddenly she jumps at a hand on her shoulder, looking up to see her father smiling down at her. “Ready?” He asks. She nods, too nervous to speak. Her mom grabs her left hand and her dad grabs her right, the trolley being pushed in front of him with his other hand. They walk straight into the wall… and then they’re through. Hogwarts Express is in front of her gleaming, and her nervousness disappears. She turns around, grinning at her parents and hurries to get on the train. She waved goodbye as it begins to leave the station, smiling at her parents with her head out the window as the train slowly picks up speed, leaving the train station behind.
