Apinya ran through the grounds, tearing through patches of wildflowers and long expanses of grass. Boy did she need this. She had never lived in the country before, and she was gonna make the most of it, that's what she had vowed to herself when she left the city. The lessons had been long and the homework longer, so she was glad for a chance to let off some steam. Sure it may look odd, a girl running backwards and forwards outside Hogwarts, but she didn't really care at this point. She would much rather be out here for her free period than inside doing homework. The essay she'd had to write for Charms was still making her hand cramp just thinking about it.

Spying a tree, she adjusted her course so she was making straight for it, leaping over a small root to get there. Proud of her newfound agility, she didn't notice the tangle of flowers in front of her until it was too late. She crashed headlong into them, her foot snagging on a stem, causing her to topple over and land straight on the flowers. She couldn't help but laugh at how silly she must look, sitting there in the flowers. Mother would have never let me do this at home...
