Saturday, 28th December, Freya's house

Saturday morning, Freya's favourite day! She loves Saturdays all good things happen to her on a Saturday!
She wakes up all happy to spend the entire night with her best friend Kayla! But first she had to tell the family to be on their best behaviour and not be as chaotic as they are every day.

Freya knows Kayla won't exactly mind the chaos but she still wants her to think of her family well instead of just remembering Freya's brothers fighting over a sock.

She rushes down the stairs decorated with a red carpet going all the way down and covering most of the living room.
Surprisingly enough she finds everyone awake and her brothers fighting over a sock yet again.
She shakes her head and once she reaches exactly where all the mature adults were she stops and says "Okay! So today we'll tonight my friend is coming over! You met her at the Christmas dinner that day remember? And i went to the creepy mansion with her?"

Oh the tiny one?" Quillion asks and Freya nods

"she'll be staying the night so all i ask for is for you to let me help preparing dinner and to keep the boys in check i really don't want her to think we're weird" she explains
"well then you got it sweetheart, we'll keep everyone in check and I'm sure no body here has a problem with you preparing dinner?" Stefan says looking at everyone arround seeing if they have any objections.
Freya smiles brightly and runs to the storage room to look for some cooking books after giving Stefan a huge hug.


And just like that it was evening and dinner was made and arranged on the table with mashed potatoes, different kinds of salads and whatever Freya thought Kayla might like.

She even decorated her room with fairy lights and changed the curtains from her regular dark and depressing ones to light and purple ones!

Freya sits at the couch nearest to the door waiting for Kayla.

28/12/22 Soon after Christmas, Kayla was supposed to go to Freyas house. After the Christmas lunch, Kayla was delighted to see her friend again. Although Freya had gone back to England after Christmas, Kayla would be taking a portkey to Freya place. Kayla had never used one, but Liam had plenty times so he went with her to drop her off. When she arrived at Freyas place, she waved her brother away, who was sticking close to her ask she knocked on the door gingerly. "You can go," Kayla said to him, raising an eyebrow as she ran a nervous hand through her hair whilst the other was gripping her phone. She heard it vibrate for several minutes and when she checked the screen, it was just Aiden spamming her asking if she had arrived yet. Little brothers were annoying. "And let you stand here in the cold by yourself? No thank you." Liam paused and looked her up and down. He matched her stare with his own. "Why aren't you wearing a jacket? It's freezing." Kayla shrugged. She was wearing a beanie and a scarf, but no jacket. Kayla would've thought that would be good enough for him. Clearly she was wrong. "Kayla, mon cher1," Liam gave her a look. Kayla knew that look, she had seen him give the Littles that look way too often. It was look of disappoint with a mixture of awe, but not the good awe, the kind of awe that's like I can't believe you just did that. "Ici.2" Liam took off the sweater he was wearing and handed to Kayla, expecting her to put it on. Kayla rolled her eyes, but put the sweater on anyway. It was way too big for her but it was warm anyway. "Did she hear you?" Liam asked a moment later, interrupting breaking the silence. Kayla nodded, "She heard me, believe it or not. She'll be here in a sec."

A short while later the bell rang Freya's face lit up with joy and she bolted towards the door pushing her brother Elio out of the way.
She grabs the door knob tries to contain her smile and twists it taking a deep breath.
The door opens revealing Kayla and her older brother Liam who came by to drop her off.
"DORIE! ohmg in so glad you're here!" she exclaims. "and hello to you too liam! Both of you come in!
Would you like to stay for dinner? I helped make it!'' she continues blabbering while shifting to the side slowly to let Kayla and Liam in.
"oh and this is my family! That's as you know my mom, that's dad and uncle Quillion!''she exclaims introducing them excitedly and pointing towards all the family members. "the nerd with the book is my older brother vesper and the dummy in the yellow shirt is my older brother Elio! And that's uncle Sorin and aunty Amara. I would introduce you to uncle Draven but he's not home right now." she says with a little frown at the end of her sentence. When Quillion suddenly recieves a call and says "Oh whoops that's my bOsS ill see you and your tiny friend later sweetheart save some of that delicious dinner for me k?'' and walks out after ruffling Freya's hair.
"so.... How do you like everything?'' she asks

28/12/22 Kayla smiled as the door started to open and looked smugly over at her older brother. "Don't even," Liam said, rolling his eyes and Kayla hoisted her bag onto her shoulder before she was greeted by a very very enthusiastic Freya. It was way to early in the morning for anyone to be that hyper. Kayla made a mental note to check how much sugar Freya was taking in. As Freya ushered the two into her house, she immiedetly started to blabber and talk. She asked Liam if he was staying for dinner, but Liam shook his head. "I wish I could, but I have to fix stuff for the Littles. See you," Liam added and planted a kiss on the top of Kaylas' head. "Bye Li, love you, tell all the Littles I say hi," Kayla said while grinning and Liam walked out the front door and then Freya continued to introduce her family. Kayla waved and smiled and greeted everyone in turn as Freya introduced them. Kaylas' mouth twitched slightly, almost frowning, when Freya introduced her brothers. The nerd and the dummy. Huh. Soon then, her uncle received a call and he waved the two off and called Kayla 'tiny friend.' Excuse me, what? Freya slowly turned to Kayla and said, "So... How do you like everything?'' Kayla frowned. She was not going to gloss over the fact that she just called tiny. "Did your uncle just call me tiny?" Kayla asked. She measured her height compared to Freyas. She was definitely taller. do I look tiny to you?"

"aw well the next time you bring the littles over too and I'll make them more food!!"
Freya exclaims grinning at the two. She was so excited for Dorie to come over to her house that it was very hard to contain it and just couldn't stop smiling.

Kayla was not a short kid, she was taller than a lot of their classmates but still in front of Quillion she was quite short. "Uh- yeah, he has strange nicknames for everyone! Dad is spider, mom is captain Marvel and I am Captain Junior spider?it's.. weird but cute" she nods walking towards a lit up open room where the dining table was.
"After we have dinner I'll show you the entire house and! Since we have a huge roof we have this telescope up there which is huge and we can star and planet gaze!" she adds still smiling.

"did you know that making a crembule is much harder than making a cake?" she blabbers randomly furrowing her eyebrows remembering the events of the morning. "I think i said Crembule wrong but eh" she shrugs entering the room where Vesper was arranging the plates and all other utensils when he sees Freya entering "aha! You must be Kayla!" he says pointing towards her "I've heard a lot about you! A bit too much if I'm honest" he adds as he walks away from the table wiping his hands "ah well anyways, Aunty Diana asked me to put namecards and you two are sitting together. Warning: Freya is annoying" he finally finished and exits the room. Freya rolls her eyes at the comment "That was Vesper, he's the oldest" she introduces him.
