Rather rebellious compared to her friends, Jaime is a free-spirited teen who lives her life day by day. Challenges excite her, but while being a bold risk-taker isn't always a bad thing, she often comes across as careless, or rash to other people. Her parents, in particular, often become frustrated by her "antics", despite her unsettlingly calm nature and surprisingly quiet demeanour.
Her hobbies include fencing, skateboarding, hockey, drums and, at her parents' insistence, debate club.
Jaime's personality type, according to 16 Personalities, is ISTP-A aka The Virtuoso.

When I was born on April 1st, 2011, the rest of my family initially thought it was a joke. An unusual one, maybe, but it was April Fools' Day and the Doons' thought little of my mom to begin with. Alas, I was real, as they soon discovered at the next family-get-together.
My parents names are Christopher Doon and Margo Doon née Ranger, who are both lawyers (handy, right?) but, unfortunately, they also expect me to be the same. Like, come on, stuffy much? My four siblings don't all agree, but law isn't the way I want to go.
My dads side, the Doons, are basically the muggle equivalent of pure-blooded families. Proud and self-important, they take honour in being from a long line of successful lawyers, judges, and, notably, barristers. My grandma'am, Judy Doon, was a judge, but has long since put down the gavel. She's the one who, not so affectionately, refers to me as "the April Fools' Day joke that never went away".
My mother's side, the Rangers, are much more laid back, and I always look forward to the once a month weekend we spend at their house two towns away. Unfortunately, my mother does not follow suit, and she is as lawyer-y as ever. That's really the only reason Grandma'am tolerates her, and even then, sometimes they both look like they're considering a slow, long, and painful death for the other.
As you can see, it's law or zip for the Doons, especially my Grandma'am. Luckily for her, my younger and older siblings are more than eager to follow suit. Spencer, who just turned 35, is an attorney in Wales and is married to another lawyer. Dave, who's 23, is in another country studying law at Harvard while raising the child of his lawyer husband. Maisie, who is 8, wrote an essay just last week about her ideal future job and, newsflash, it was a judge.
In fact, my brother Zack (15) and I are the only ones not squealing with joy and jumping up and down at the thought of a life in court. Well, unlessss he's the one being tried. In that case, the world better watch out, because he's all in and our parents hate it. Especially Grandma’am.
So, yeah, I may not be the least favourite kid (woo-hoo), but I'm pretty high up there, right next to our dog, who I think my parents might actually love more. To be fair, though, they weren’t that upset when that teacher came and told me I was a witch. Shocked and confused, maybe, but they did try to swallow their pride for my sake (unlike Grandma’am, who I’m sure will throw a fit next time I see her). Mother even offered to buy me a cat, but I turned her down. Toads were what I wanted, but they said I'd have to buy that myself. Oh well.

The first time I did magic, I didn't even realize at the time. I'd been playing my drums, but when I went to have dinner, my parents got really mad about how loud I was playing. I didn't find out until later that the sound was literally being amplified across the entire block as if from speakers. Oops.
