Appearance: Sabrina has olive skin and dark black hair. Her eyes are the same shade of green brown as an olive. Sabrina is right in the middle between tall and short.
Personality: Sabrina is a bold girl who isn’t afraid to speak her mind. She is what some might refer to as fast tempered but she would rather say she speaks her mind and does what she wants to.
History: Sabrina was born in Corocio, Bolivia to a muggle mother, Juli Ortega, and a wizard father, Tomas Ortega. Sabrina was their second child, making her the second oldest to one. Her older sister, fourteen year old Catrina, is a muggle like her mother. Her little brother, Luis, is seven. The family was mostly know for their kindness to others regardless of their blood status. Sabrina went to a small muggle school for several years before her parents made the decision to homeschool her but that didn’t stop her from managing to get into fights with other children. Sabrina learned a great deal from her mother after she switched to homeschooling including learning how to speak English. Sabrina grew more and more outspoken the older she got, especially with her sister and brother. Her parents tried their best to encourage her to avoid being so outspoken with others but only managed to do so a tiny amount. Sabrina had her first instance of magic at age nine. She was rather excited to be the first child to be a witch. Her first instance was when her sister and her were walking by a small pond by their home when her sister suddenly shoved her so she would fall into the pond. Sabrina braced herself to hit the water but she never did. Instead, she was hovering a few inches above the water. She was shocked. Catrina helped her get back in land before running back to their home to inform their father that Sabrina was a witch. He smiled and hugged Sabrina, telling her how proud he was of her.
Reason for being held back:
Sabrina became very sick during the school year. The sickness could not be cured easily by magic and so she was sent home to Bolivia. Thankfully, she became well enough to go back to school but since she missed a big part of the year, she was held back.

ReducioGrowing up in the dense forests of Coroico, Bolivia, Sabrina was lucky enough to develop eyesight so good one might call it keen. Sabrina and her elder sister Catrina would often venture outside to watch the passing birds. This happened often especially after their little brother was born and needed to be tended to. Catrina and Sabrina would spend hours outside, marveling at the colors of the birds that were hard to see among the flora and fauna of their homeland. Sabrina was always the first to spot the birds, even if they had the same dark greens as the trees. "Whoa!" Catrina would gasp when Sabrina declared the birds. "That's a great pair of eyes you have there!" Sabrina cherished these moments with her sister, and as time went on, her advanced eyesight grew better and better. The smallest of movements were easy for the Bolivian witch to see as well as camouflaged colors her sister missed. This gift Sabrina obtained stayed strong even during the time she spent away from school as she recovered from her illness.
"Do you wish to go outside?" her father had asked her on a day Sabrina was starting to regain her strength.
"Outside?" Sabrina had repeated.
"Yes, outside. You can watch those birds you and your sister enjoy."
Sabrina had agreed and the two went out to watch the birds. Suddenly, a huge Scarlet Macaw flew by. "There! Did you see it?" Sabrina had cried, pointing to the sky where the bird flew.
"A Scarlet Macaw! How extraordinary! I'm surprised you saw it; I barely did!" her dad replied.
Several more birds flew by and sang from their trees, and Sabrina spotted each and every one. "There!" she'd yell each time. "Isn't it beautiful?"
Cliff Parakeets, macaws, even the smaller birds like the Masked Antpitta stood no change against Sabrina's superior vision. As Sabrina slowly got better, she went outside more and more like she did when she was younger and continued to watch the trees for the birds. She would routinely use the gift of her keen eyes to forage for different fruits and plants her mother would use to make dinner despite the fact they could prove a challenge to find in the thick forests. Summertime, despite the muggy heat, was prime time for Sabrina's bird watching and food finding hobbies. During the school break, she'd sit for hours and hours to watch the daily avian traffic, aided by her strikingly beautiful olive green eyes that could spot any disturbance in the trees.
