Finished boarding the train &. talking Solo

Cicely woods
As she clutched the handle of her suitcase, she gave a small shiver, looking around at the other children gathering onto the platform. A cold hand went onto her shoulder. She lifted her eyes to her mother, who was behind her, looking around the platform with her red mouth set to a thin line.
“Ah.. this place brings back…” her mother’s jade eyes glanced to her for a second.
“…many memories. Are you sure you’ll be okay here?” she asked, placing two cold hands onto her daughter’s shoulder. Cicely gave a gulp before nodding.

“I’m terribly excited for what awaits there.” she replied, turning back to watch a family chase a snowy white owl which escaped from its cage. Her mother gave a wry chuckle.

“well, you can either write to me every day, or a week, or every fortnight. Which one do you choose?” Kim jiwon raised an arched eyebrow, staring at her daughter. Cicely frowned. She thought her mother would stop doing this already.

“Mother, you said you’d stop with the options!” she sighed, exasperated. “And I told you that such a long time ago!” with a huff, she moved away from her mother, carrying her trunk towards the train, as other small wizards and witches boarded too. At the last minute before she stepped onto the train, she turned back to her mother and gave a small smile, waving before walking into the train.

“Good luck at school!” her mother called, smiling. “you’re going to need it.” she sighed as she watched those doors swallow her daughter up.
