I'm not the best at writing formal letters so excuse any mistakes you may find.
This owl is to invite you to my birthday party!
It's nothing big it'll be just you and two of my other friends, I'll introduce you to them when you get there :D
The party is at the great lake by the way! At 4 p.m.

Joseph was just eating breakfast when a school owl flew down on and dropped an envelope on his eggs and sausage. Now they were ruined.
"Real thanks ye stupid owl!" shouted Joseph in his head.
Joseph never really got post and most of them were from his parents. He could tell that this certainly didn't come from home cause of the colorful sheets. That just wasn't really their style. Joseph quickly tore open the envelope as he was curious about what was inside.

It's at the great lake at 4p.m so don't be late and a gift is mandatory!

Freya- A friend he made on his first day here in Hogwarts. Joseph always knew that he loved charms for a reason. Joseph shoveled the remains of his breakfast into his mouth and quickly left the great hall.


Joseph huffed and he climbed up the stairs to the owlery. It was on the top floor. When got there a owl flapped onto his head.
"Why do owls seem to hate?" he muttered to himself. Joseph sat down and quickly scribbled a letter to Freya as he had to go to class.

I would be happy to go to your birthday party. I will also accept your wish and not bring a gift. joking
