Mischievous Intent pet

Azrael Faire walked into Magical Menagerie, their parents waiting outside for them. They were looking for a pet, but not just any pet, one they could relate and emotionally connect to. They'd already set sights on what type, they wanted a ferret. As they walked the store, a flash of black and brown fur scurried past them. They followed it, by the time they finally caught up, they found a kit (Baby Ferret) hunkered up and doing a weird little side-hop, before scurrying over and grabbing a charm off of Azzy's bracelet before running off. They gave chase. "Hey! Hey you little rascal give that back!" They yelled while running after it. It seemed the kit only ran faster when they said that. They eventually cornered the furry thief before snatching the charm back. "Ha! I gotcha ya furry little thief!" They said, panting. The kit simply looked up at them. They smiled and scratched behind it's little bear-like ears. One of the two shop owners walked up beside them, restocking a shelf. "I see you found our little trouble-maker. He can be quite the handful." The older gentleman said. "Yes sir. He is a little trouble maker. But he is really cute in the same sense. Kind of reminds me of myself in a way! Azzy said, looking up at the older man. "Ah so yer a lil fire-starter yerself huh? I think you and the little one would get along swell. Wasn't born but a few weeks ago, just weened him of 'is moma." He said, Azzy looked down, the kit had just curled up on their lap, and was fast asleep. "Looks like he picked ya. They're amazing, pets. Always able to tell who needs 'em the most. It's always nice ta have a furry companion to keep ya company." The old man stated. Azzy nodded and picked up the kit, setting him securely in their scarf to nap. They went off to get the rest of what they needed for the kit. They were super excited to show him off to their parents, but what would they name him? Loki? Nah, to old fashioned and their deity wouldn't take kindly to that. Trouble? Nah. Most everyone would name a ferret that. What about something cute like Nugget or Noodle? They cringed about the names. Most definitely not. They then smiled, thinking of the perfect name for their furry, yet troublesome ferret. Mischief. That was absolutely perfect! They went to the counter, having remembered that their parents had gotten everything for the ferret. They set the now awake kit on the counter. "How much for the baby ferret?" They asked the older lady, she simply smiled. "Fourteen Galleons sweetie." She said. Azzy took out 14 Galleons and placed them down. "Thank you, ma'am! Have a great day! They said cheerfully, picking up the kit. "You too sweetie! Have a great day!" The older lady said. Azzy walked out and looked at their new furry friend. "Welcome to the Faire Family, Mischeif." They said. The kit yawned in response and Azzy put him back in their scarf to sleep.
