Thorn was relieved to be back home at the manor after long stay at St.Mungos. For the last couple weeks she had done nothing but spend time with her family. They had all come to stay at the Family Manor for awhile while she was adjusting to being back home. She hadn't missed Hogwarts one bit and definitely not St.Mungos. She decided it was high time for a swim since she had not done that since she got home. She had loved swimming ever since her father had taught her that one summers day. She made her way upstairs to put on her bathing suit. After finishing changing she made way down stairs "Where are you going?" a blonde haired boy asks trailing after her. It was her older brother Alfie, she turned and smiled at him. "I'm going for a swim, i'll be back soon" she told him before opening it and letting herself out. Not knowing that would be the last time she saw her brother. She trudged down the hill to the lake. The lake was always beautiful this time of year and the flowers were just blooming too!

She kicked off her shoes and dove into the lake. She began paddling around when suddenly something wrapped around her leg. She screamed desperately trying to stay afloat while the thing grabbing at her pulled at her leg. "Basilisk help, somebody help" She could see two figures running down the hill as the water filled her lungs and everything went dark.
