The day had finally arrived, the day where the lions would finally properly reply to the insult made to the Fat Lady's portrait. They had needed time to prepare, but all lions calmly prepare their actions, calculating and waiting for the right time to start the hunt. This was the right time for the little firsties from the noble house of Gryffindor.
Ying had everything prepared, after the end of their last class, she went to her dorm and got properly dressed for their plan. She had picked up her black and green jogging suit, her Slytherin scarf, a black cap so she could easily hide her face and her backpack with the parchment roll that had been carefully drawn and cut to serve as a stencil. For their plan to work, they had to be quick, so they had come up with the idea that creating a stencil with a badger would be the better and more effective option to paint the door for the Ravenclaw's Common Room.
Putting her bag at her back she left her dorm. Ying went downstairs and over to one of the couches by the fireplace. She impatiently awaited Raizel's arrival, she just hoped she wouldn't take too long... a first-year student dressed as a Slytherin in the Gryffindor common room would certainly draw the attention of other people present there or anyone passing by and watching the unusual color of clothes she was dressed in, specially the scarf around her shoulders...

Preparations were done, the materials are all set. It is now the day to put everything to the test. Their plan to paint the door of the mighty Raven had been held off due to the lack of resources that they could use, especially in making the deed very quick to avoid detection. Knowing that, they didn't rush, thus, the days of preparation and also, waiting for the ink spray that they'll be using for it.
Raizel had checked everything that they might need. The ink and then a disguise. Sadly, she doesn't have any green scarf but she does have a green shirt tucked away in her trunk which she is now wearing at the moment. She gave her satchel one last look, making sure that the ink was there before putting on a black hoodie that she just got from her parents as a present along with the ink that she requested. They were skeptical at first judging with how they wrote the message to her that came along with the package but she believes that they just let it go… for now at least.
With all the things they need in her possession, she ran off to meet her friend, Ying or who you could call, her 'partner in crime'. She doesn't want to make the girl wait for too long as well for that'll just raise suspicion on them since they will be wearing a disguise, posing as a different house. Raizel almost slipped while she was running down the stairs, smiling nervously when she caught herself before noticing the girl that had been waiting for her. She smiled and gave her a wave before making her way to her. "Did I take too long?" She asked her, slowing down once she was near the other Gryffindor first year.

Alana ended up walking around stretching she wanted to take a walk for a bit before starting off her day. As she entered the corridors the young girl noticed the other two first years just standing around. Alana noticed Ying first after all she was friends with the young girl. Though Alana found it quite strange that the girl was decked out in Slytherin garb. Tilting her curiously Alana spoke up calmly and curiously.
"Do I even want to know what's going on? I mean it looks like whatever is about to happen is either gonna be super fun or full of consequences. For that I am curious."
Alana spoke calmly though her eyes shone with excitement and grin appeared on her pale freckled face. Whatever these two were about to plan. Alana for sure wanted to be included for sure. At the same time Alana wanted to make sure these two did not do anything to dangerous or risky where they may get injured or hurt. After all Alana is a caring girl and tends to put others first. Alana moved closer to the two first years staring them up and down noting they both wore Slytherin colors. Alana knew for sure something was about to go down. But whatever it was she had not idea. Alana knew for one she wanted to be involved after all if Ying is doing it Alana may as well do it to right?! Alana stared at the two young first years awaiting a response.

The Circle of Life - Part II
After Argahlon rose from bed and readied himself for the day, he decided to take a stroll from the common room and head down to the corridors to get a better look at where his next classes would be. With it being his first year in Hogwarts, Argahlon was still very confused as to where most places were within the very large castle. There were times when he spent over an hour on the staircase as it changed positions, causing him to forget where he was or how to even get back. Luckily for Argahlon that he was not the only first year, so he found himself running into other lost students as well.
Once the young red head finally made his way down to the corridors, there were students from all houses passing by with books in their hands and smiles on their faces. It was amazing to see genuine happiness from the other students, which made it easier for Argahlon to feel comfortable around almost everyone. After he turned the corner from the corridor, the young red head decided to head back up to the common room.
Just as Argahlon stepped into the common room, he noticed a group of Gryffindors much like himself were chatting towards the dead end of the corridor, and seemed to be chatting casually. This would be his chance to finally meet some other Gryffindor members officially, but he didn’t want to seem rude by interrupting a private conversation. Argahlon slowed down and finally made the decision to go for it. His social life was basically non-existent and that had to change. He finally brought his pace back to normal until he was just a few feet away from the others. “Aye, my fellow Gryffindors!!” He broke the ice, or so he thought he did. Either way, Argahlon took a few steps closer and gave a respectful nod towards the group. “The name is Argahlon Vexius!” He paused as he noticed the female dressed in Slytherin gear.
Argahlon wasn’t sure what to make of the uniform, but it seemed this group was up to something and it would be just up his alley as well. He let out a soft chuckle before speaking again. “Now I am curious..because this could be fun..” He admitted. Whatever they were up to, Argahlon was interested and more than likely willing to join them on their shenanigans.

It's been a long day of classes. Reuben was heading back to the common room after spending some time with his friend Marek earlier; he was exhausted from all the studying but didn't feel like returning to his dorm just yet. He didn't want to sit around and do nothing, and he had nothing else to do this afternoon.
As he walked into the common room he spotted his friend Raizel- wearing green. He raised an eyebrow just as he saw her standing with two other Gryffindors and a girl also wearing green and... A Slytherin scarf? Odd... What were they doing inside the Gryffindor common room wearing Slytherin colours? - Reuben thought to himself.
He was fully intrigued by what his friend could be up to and he had a lot of questions for the girl wearing the scarf.
"Raizel? What's the craic*? What're you guys up to?" - he inquired with a cheeky grin on his face. Whatever it was, it looked fun and it was definitely better than sitting around and doing nothing- on a Friday afternoon no less.
Something was going down, judging by the pumped expressions of the others and Reuben was not about to miss out on it! He strolled closer to the group and glanced at the others with an inquisitive look waiting for an explanation.

She didn't had to wait much longer until she saw Raizel coming down the stairs She flinched a little instinctively when she noticed that her friend almost slipped on the steps. The brunette was wearing a green shirt and a black hoodie, she looked like she belonged to the house of snakes. Ying smirked mischievously at the girl, she was feeling anxious and excited that they would finally put their plan into practice, she hoped that everything would run in their favor and that they wouldn't get caught pranking the other houses. Just the thought of that possibility made her stomach churn, so she pushed those thoughts out of her mind before her fears could overwhelm her and make her not enjoy this fun moment with her friend.
"Did I take too long?" Raizel asked as soon as she reached closer. "No, you're on time!" Ying answered joyfully but it was obvious in her voice how nervous she was, "Should we go then?" She said before she turn around and head of the Common Room towards the corridors. As soon as they arrived to the hall, Ying noticed that there were still a few students walking both directions. Some walked in accelerated footsteps, others were talking and chatting in groups. It didn't took long before a familiar and cheerful red-haired girl to approach her and Raizel. Alana was walking down the corridor with her so characteristic sweet and heartwarming smile, "Do I even want to know what's going on? I mean it looks like whatever is about to happen is either gonna be super fun or full of consequences. For that I am curious." She calmly said but it was obvious how curious and elated she was with the idea of having some fun. "Uh....well," Ying started exchanging a look with Raizel before look again towards the newcomer, "It will be super fun, that's one fact! The other fact is that..you're right! It can have bad consequences if we get caught!" She admitted with a funny grimace.
“Aye, my fellow Gryffindors!!” a voice came from behind her and so she slightly turn on her heels to see who was approaching them this time. It was a boy with red/orange hair and dark green eyes, Ying was quite sure she had seen him around during classes or at the common room, possibly another first year? "Hey!" Ying replied with a small wave of her hand. She was feeling now a little defeated...so much for the secrecy of their plan...if they were lucky he would also join them if not...Well let's not think about it! She thought dismissing the idea. “The name is Argahlon Vexius!” the boy introduced himself giving a soft chuckle when he looked at her and probably noticing how she was dressed, “Now I am curious..because this could be fun..” he said, and Ying felt relieved that he would not hand them over to any responsible.
Ying was reading herself to reply to both Alana and Argahlon when another boy appeared, "Raizel? What's the craic*? What're you guys up to?" he asked with a cheeky grin spread on his face. He had dark wavy hair and bright blue eyes that now were looking inquisitively towards the group. Ying sighed defeatedly, she had no other option then to tell the new arrivals what were they doing and cross her fingers that non of them would snitch their plan. Clearing her throat and reaching forward in a way to shorten the space between them, she first mentioned with her hand for them to come closer before she started to explain everything in almost a whisper, "You know the prank that was made to the Fat Lady's portrait right?" She asked looking from one to another, "Well...then me and Raizel had the idea to make a proper reply to it!" She confessed with a small smirk appearing in her lips, "We thought about a way to prank all the other houses. That's why we are wearing green clothes and I'm wearing a Slytherin scarf, so everyone that would see us, or even a glimpse of us, they would think we are sneks!" She explained, "The next step we thought was to paint the Raven's door to their Common Room...Raizel had the brilliant idea that we could paint a badger!! So, in that way, the Ravens will think it was the Huffles who did all this mess!!" She said grinning excited and proud of their plan, "Genius, right?!" she finished asking with pride and a glint of joy and excitement in her eyes.

Raizel grinned at Ying's answer and she did take notice of that nervousness in her voice. She won't lie, she too was nervous about all of these, more nervous than back when she was on her way to Hogwarts for the first time and at the same time, excited. "Had to make sure I had it here. Let's go." The girl gave her satchel a tap before following Ying. Once they reached the corridor, she couldn't help but notice her own nervousness increasing, making her grip on the strap of her satchel to calm herself. "Oh boy…" she muttered with a chuckle. Raizel paused when they were approached by a red-haired girl, making her take a quick glance at the new person"No, you're on time!" Ying answered joyfully but it was obvious in her voice how nervous she was, "Should we go then?"
Raizel turned towards Ying when she felt her eyes on her when the newcomer spoke up before looking back at the new person who just joined them, listening to Ying. The girl does seem to know this new person. "Yeah… super fun…" she agreed with that one and then flinched at the thought of the bad consequences that could happen. She's not wrong though, things could go out of their control and… yes, getting caught is a probability."Do I even want to know what's going on? I mean it looks like whatever is about to happen is either gonna be super fun or full of consequences. For that I am curious."
When she heard another voice greeting them, she quickly turned her head to look at the source of that voice. Well, it seems like people had taken notice of them rather quickly. That is a bad sign but, they'll see where this goes. She gave the boy a wave before speaking. "Hey there." Now when a familiar voice reached her ears, that almost made her jump. "Oh, Reuben. Hey there." She looked over to Ying and knew as well that they can't keep their plans a secret now, making her scratch the bag of her head and since these people are from Gryffindor, they might be interested in joining them instead. After all, it was the prank on their Fat Lady Portrait Prank the beginning of this all. She waited until Ying finished explaining their plan, looking over to each of them.
"That's the plan right there and since you seem interested in it… perhaps you can join us. A reminder once more, this could get us in a bit of trouble if discovered." Raizel told them, going quiet to wait for their responses on this.

Alana hummed with thoughtfulness. Listening to what the two first year girls said. Alana looked at both girls noting their appearances and the nervous expressions on their faces. Though Alana did agree pulling pranks to avenge the fat lady portrait seemed honorable. Though at the same time the red haired girl knew there would be dire consequences if any of them got caught pranking the other houses. Analyzing the situation Alana closed her sea-foam blue eyes in a very thoughtful manner. The young red haired girl had to think things thoroughly before responding to the two students in front of her. Glancing at the four students in front of her Alana already knew this would be quite chaotic least to say that trouble could arise as well. The two boys seemed to have the sense of urge to tag along anyways. Releasing a low sigh, Alana turned towards the two green clad students in front of her showing off her trademark grin. Her eyes sparkled with mischievousness while her freckles seemed to pop on the young girls face.
"Suppose I should tag along encase things go south after all rather not let you two have all the fun after all. Though with the five of us means we can have two people on look out. Which will help this operation run a lot smoother don't you agree?"
Alana spoke with a soft voice puffing out her small chest feeling proud of her little idea of having a two lookouts at least this way if they see anyone or anything they could leave the situation quickly with less of a risk of getting caught. Though the young red haired girl should feel nervous like the other two girls standing in front of her. Alana turned attention to the two boys standing beside her analyzing their appearances as well. After all if they were to pull this great prank of theres it would be best not to change out of their uniforms it would take a bit longer. Alana also noted the crowds in the hall were not as crowded and lively yet which would allow them enough time to do what they must do before it did become extremely lively and bustling with other students. After all the five children did not need any witnesses to what they are about to do. Especially if they get caught Alana shuddered slightly at the thought of attention though she enjoyed a good thrill that was one thing the girl wished to not experience anytime soon after all, what would her mother say if she were to cause any trouble at all. Shaking her thoughts Alana grinned excitedly ready to begin this great prank adventure of theres after all what's the worst that can happen right?!

As Argahlon stood back and listened to exactly what the other Gryffindors had planned and to say the least, the young red head was more than happy that he stumbled upon the group of pranksters. Once everyone was finished speaking he stood back and smiled wide before speaking. “It’s brilliant! But..” He looked down at his outfit and noticed way too much Red and Gold. Not the attire needed for such a journey, so Argahlon had only one thing to do. “Looks like I need to change real quick. I will be right back!” He spoke excitedly, before running off towards his dorm.
After a few short minutes of finding something appropriate for the occasion, Argahlon returned in a black cloak with a green and white striped scarf, neatly tucked around his neck. He then pulled the hood up and over to hide some of his face and bright orange hair. “How is this? With two lookouts as she suggested, I think we will have a great chance at succeeding with this little mission.” Argahlon spoke confidently, as he pointed out Alana, the one who came up with the idea of having two people to look out just in case anyone were to stumble upon their shenanigans.
Argahlon realized that he had heard all these names and no idea who they belonged to. Being a first year wasn’t easy and the red head was determined to make some friends before the year's end, so this would be a good way to start building some friendships within the Gryffindor House.

He then pulled the hood up and over to hide some of his face and bright orange hair. “How is this? With two lookouts as she suggested, I think we will have a great chance at succeeding with this little mission.” Argahlon spoke confidently, as he pointed out Alana, the one who came up with the idea of having two people to look out just in case anyone were to stumble upon their shenanigans.
Argahlon realized that he had heard all these names and no idea who they belonged to. Being a first year wasn’t easy and the red head was determined to make some friends before the year's end, so this would be a good way to start building some friendships within the Gryffindor House.

Reuben lightly rested his weight on one foot as Raizel and the other Gryffindor girl explained their plan. His face perked up as they mentioned the prank on the Fat Lady's portrait, eager to get back at the person responsible; even if no one knew who it was or the house they were from. It didn't matter to him though; mischief knows no boundaries!
Without skipping a beat he was onto it: "I'm in." Raizel's cautioning of the potential repercussions was appreciated but it didn't matter much as far as Reuben was concerned. Consequences just gave a bigger incentive not to get caught- simple; or so he believed. He grinned as the other two Gryffindors also expressed their support for the plans. It was exhilarating to pull off something like this fully knowing it was in violation of the rules. It gave him a burst of energy as concepts of the perfect outfit rushed through his mind. "Gonna quickly get changed too then!" He gleefully followed the redhead boy towards the dorms.
He removed his robe and tie flinging his trunk open as he rummaged for something appropriate. A simple dark green jumper caught his eye. Without hesitation, he swiftly grabbed it and pulled it over his shirt as he dashed back to the others with vigour. A broad smile enveloped his face as he caught a glimpse in the mirror on the way out - "Perfect."
Reuben radiated with confidence as he rejoined the group. "This is gonna be great!" He beamed at the Lions, eager to be up to no good for once. There haven't been many chances since the start of the school year and he was ready to finally embrace mischief again.
