Does he like me more than I think...? (PV Colin McCoire) (Correct version)

Charlie had a love hate relationship with Colin. He was annoying. He was cute. He was still annoying. But was the curveball of 'she's my sister' just something else phrased to look innocent? Could he mean something else by it, a secret message that she wasn't able to understand? No, it couldn't be, he had his heart set on Clair, a girl much prettier than her! There was no way he didn't mean something else by it though, because that's just not Colin. Maybe Charlie should ask him, but he didn't respond to her owls anymore and he'd probably just tease her again...
Maybe she just wasn't good enough, smart enough, maybe she just wasn't good at anything? Maybe she should learn what she's bad at and what she's terrible at? Maybe she wasn't cut out for any of this? Suddenly, Charlie started to doubt herself and her abilities, with the worst possible things and scenarios coming into her head. She knew she shouldn't worry but she couldn't help self-doubting and worrying she wasn't good at anything that she previously thought she was? Colin wouldn't answer her so she couldn't talk to him, and even if she did, he'd just tease her again...

Attire: Usual school day attire: robes, shirt (buttons mismatched), tie (undone), kilt, neck ring, no shoes.Reducio

Colin ran up all six million four hundred and thirty three thousand steps that led from the dim and dismal underworld that House Slytherin was forced to inhabit and broke, at last, through the portal of darkness and out into the much lighter space of the entrance hall. His kilt swayed jauntily as he made his way along, and his Slytherin tie was done up neatly around his left knee. It was nearly time for dinner and Colin had something he needed to show a certain rather annoying first year Hufflepuff.
He had teased her the other day --- a little bit! --- about being his sister. It was just talk at first, like he had done with Rina and Alora and Sophia before. It started out silly, but after a while he really came to like them and did actually consider them sisters. Well, didn't the Headmaster say that Hoggys was like our family?
But this girl, a Hufflepuff, seemed to take it soooo seriously! Of course, she argued about it, up and down and every which way! Colin thought it was fun. There's no way you can be my brother! Colin had laughed it off at first. But then he got to thinking. She was a real hard core tease! In her, Colin felt a sort of kinship, a girl that he could walk or sit with and just exchange barrages of insults and teasing! He'd seen her a couple other times in the corridors, of course, and he always made it a point to stick out his tongue or make some silly face or call out Little Liza Lizzard Face at her! To that end, he decided to make the arrangement somewhat official. He had sat down to write a letter. And today, the girl and the letter came together in Colin's mind.
Entering the great hall, he headed for the Hufflepuff table. He could see Fyre Angel and Simon deep in conversation, and Alma a little bit closer. But he wasn't looking for them. He was looking instead for a most unexpected Hufflepuff.
Charlie Moonglade.
"Alright, Moonshine, lass, where are you?" he said under his breath. He smirked. It always got to her when he messed with her name. Moonshine, he thought. That was rich! Ah, and there she was! In a knot of firsties. He padded over towards the table. There was a slight space between two firsties, directly across from Charlie. Colin stepped up on the thick wooden bench. Then he crouched down and nudged the two kids with his elbows. "Shift yer lazy bums!" Then he settled down between them. Goodness they were wee!
"Right," he began. "Moonglade. Look, you and I started out on the right foot after all! For the last while, you've been probably the single most annoying girl in all Hoggys to me. And I've been ragging you like a first class second year. But look at this, mate." Colin pulled the piece of parchment out of his pocket. He smirked. "Ciarán wrote this to me a month or two ago. She's my little sister. She --- She'll be your little sister too?"
Before Charlie could respond, Colin put the parchment in front of her. "Look, before ye get yer knickers in a bind, lass, read it!"
Heheh. Colin wondered what the little troublemaker would think of this!Dear Charlie Moonbeams!
Colin says you're more of a tease than I am! Whatever! He says he'll be your big brother! Well, he'd better look out for you, cos you sound like a real trouble maker --- SIS!!!
Heheh.
Maybe it's better he sees you as a sister? Otherwise, he'll have you snogging him in not time! Tell Colin for me that he's such a dog!

Does he like me more than I think...? (PV Colin McCoire) (Correct version)

Charlie was sitting with the first years at the Hufflepuff table, when out of the corner of her eye, the most annoying person entered the hall. Oh God, he better just sit at the Slytherin Table, where he belongs. I don't want to talk to him right now. Not after everything he'd done. He started walking towards her table, so she kept her head down, in hope he wouldn't see her. Too late. He told some other first years to move and sat down in front of her. He told her to read the last bit of the letter he was holding in his hand. Putting it down in front of her, he waited for her to read it. ''I'm not your mate'' then she got up from the table and ran out of the hall, without reading it at all...it was all his fault after all. She decided she would go to the lake to calm down. She hoped she could be left alone, that he wouldn't follow her, but knowing him he would follow her, whether she liked it or not. She couldn't escape him however hard she tried to and that was the most frustrating thing. He was the type of person where he would tell you to do something and it was hard not to do it. He just had that aura.

Colin rather enjoyed sparring with Charlie. He could tell she was a handful, though. Her greeting was terse and clearly put her on the offensive. Colin knew this was going to be fun. "Heh! Ye're not my mate, eh mate? Just read the letter sis!" He wondered if she really did think that they were related. Well, the letter he received from Ciarán a while back --- the real letter from his real little sister --- had given him the idea for this wee prank between high energy verbal sparring partners!
Imagine, getting a first year Hufflepuff to believe that she was really Colin's sister! That would be a coup de grace and no mistake! At first, he thought she might actually read it. The parchment was right in front of her. He'd shifted her plate and everything. Colin's green eyes bored into her own. As if he could will her to do what he wanted. Of course, no one could really do that. But Colin reckoned it was worth a shot making himself look like he could!
Aaannnd... Charlie jumped up from the table and ran from the hall! Colin was actually surprised. It was just a letter after all. No harm in reading it, right? Well, he reckoned he'd have to find her some other time to broach the topic of being 'siblings'. He turned briefly to watch her go. Colin smirked. There was always tomorrow at breakfast!
He'd have to tell Alora about this delightful little encounter! For now, though, Colin shrugged. He pocketed the unread letter and pulled Charlie's plate towards him. She hadn't even touched the bit of fired fish! "Well, waste not want not," he said and tucked in to the fish, before bidding the first year Hufflepuffs a good evening and joining his mates at the Slytherin table, where he belonged!
Colin leaves the thread.

ReducioNOTE: I know you've seen that Charlie and me had been plotting to be half siblings. This is obviously no longer possible. Therefore I've edited my first post and written this post as a means of altering that original plan to that of a simple 'tease and prank' arrangement. @Clair Fernandez | @AngelFyre McCubbin | @Lucian Mornstern | @Fang Hui-Ying
