-----Caoimhe was made aware of a duel between two Slytherin first years via murmurs and conversations throughout the day, although the combatants' names were not confirmed. Very strange and intriguing, Caoimhe thought. While she had never participated in a duel, she cherished the thrill it gave her when she witnessed one. In an effort to arrange her day once the final session was dismissed, Caoimhe would quickly leave Astrology class and hurry to her dormitory to change out of the mandatory black robes into something much more comfortable—a thin sweater and figure-hugging leggings.
Caoimhe hurried up out of the common area and up many stories before arriving at the fourth floor with only her wand, a notepad, and a quill in an effort to not miss a single second of the match. When the Slytherin entered the Dueling Club room, she was out of breath but discreetly made her way to the spectator area. Retrieving her quill and parchment out of her bag, she started writing the date at the top of the sheet of paper. She had planned to jot notes to learn more about how to dominate dueling; mostly aiming to effectively cast dueling spells and how to properly evade, or any tactics that would be useful for Caoimhe to perform on her own time.
As the host of the duel centered himself in the middle of the platform, he announced the players: Ava Winchect and Avery Leveret. Letting out an inaudible gasp slightly loosing her grip on her quill, Caoimhe realized it'd be the very gentleman she had been avoiding since their interaction. Seeing his dapper self involved in sanctioned combat highlighted him in a new . Perhaps she could learn some of these skills from him? Would he even take the time to practice together, or was he just all talk? How could she be able to take notes with all the excitement?

Spectating Ava v. Avery - 1v1 Dueling Club
Interacting with @Caoimhe Kyle
It was Monday, so Duvessa was wearing a simply black cloak and matching grey skirt which was as usual in it's pristine condition.
Today, she was unusually excited. She was going to spectate a duel between Ava Winchect and a boy named Avery Leveret, who Duvessa did not know. She heard something about Ava, but Duvessa kept herself to herself and wasn't interested in roumurs.
She had also wanted to pick up any tips or maybe just enjoy herself - heavens, this was a match against two snakes....who could win? She clenched her fists in excitment as she moved towards the stand. There she saw was her pretty friend, Cai.
"Cai!" She called as she moved closer, "Came here to watch the duel?" She questioned as she glanced at Damion White who was moderating the match.
She grinned as she focused her eyes when Damion announced the two Slytherins up. She could almost smell the determination - she guessed that they both wanted the glory very much.
"Its going to be a tense match." She predicted, as the duel was about to start. But sharp eyed Duvessa spotted Cai staring at that boy. What on earth was going on?
"Cai...." She said, who was able to read her best friend fairly well.

-----Caoimhe's heart soared with delight when she spotted her best friend approaching her to observe the two snakes fighting in the pit. Caoimhe put her parchment and quill down beside her along the stands not bothering to take notes, totally becoming absorbed in watching the serpents cast their spells using their wands. Only here could Caoimhe see the fruit of either of their labors, and part of her wished to be put to this test one day as well. Caoimhe leaned closely and murmured, "That's him," while nodding her head in his direction. "That's the guy that I was talking about," she added.
Because of how she felt about the other kid in Slytherin, she was unable to bring herself to say anything else in response to what was spoken. She would say that she detested him for his pretentiousness, but on the other hand, she could claim that she appreciated him for putting a spark under her rear so to speak.
Throughout the entirety of this competition, she kept her fingers crossed and, behind closed doors, she was hoping that he would come out on top. On the other hand, a part of her was secretly hoping that he would lose so that she could figure out whether or not he was all talk. She would occasionally find herself giggling to herself as she watched the two of them perform absurd Irish jigs, but she would recoil at Avery's statements since she hadn't anticipated such hostility coming from such a quiet student. It was as though the mere prospect of defeat was enough to send him over the edge. How thrilling.
